Macca Meda American Amber Ale Barley
After the flattering successes obtained with the first five beers, the Sardinian brewer Nicola Perra embarks on a new "very crazy" adventure (Macca Meda, in Sardinian language) with a beer close to an American Amber Ale, at the same time strong and drinkable, with an "international" cut due to the presence of ingredients linked to countries of great tradition, placed at the service of the new emerging “Made in Italy” synonymous with imagination, creativity and originality.
Macca Meda gives us a pleasant sensation of freshness on the nose followed by impressive fruity notes of white grapes, orange and apricot. On the palate the citrus, the bitter and the spicy coexist in harmony that direct us towards an explosive aftertaste characterized by penetrating peppery tips and a clear astringency. The main creator is the First Gold, an infrequently used hops of English origin, grown in Belgium in the Poperinge area.
