Blason Rosé is a champagne that expresses vinosity, strength and roundness. Hervé Deschamps, faithful to the Perrier-Jouët tradition that sees the Chef de Cave as a creative craftsman, proceeds to the assembly in a single step, without pre-assembly. Examining the barrels one by one, in search of perfection and balance, he selects the crus that will enter the composition (about thirty) for the Blason Rosé.
In this cuvée the Chef de Cave has sought amplitude and structure, combined with evident notes of freshness. A combination that requires the precision of a specialist to evoke the elegance of the style of Perrier-Jouët champagnes.
For the Blason Rosé Hervé Deschamps preferred the red wines of Aÿ et di Vincelles (12-15%) to the mighty pinots from the southern area of the Montagne de Reims, such as those of Bouzy. Blason Rosé is the cuvée with the highest presence of pinot: 50% of pinot noir and 25% of meunier. The elegance and liveliness of the chardonnay complete the composition occupying the remaining 25%.
