Composed of 1/3 of Meunier - 1/3 of Pinot Noir - 1/3 of Chardonnay, the Cuvée Théophile is made with grapes from young vines (less than 10 years old) owned by Louis Roederer, supplemented by purchases of grapes from the Marne Valley and the West Reims Mountain.

It is an assembly of four different harvests and benefits from two years of aging in the cellar and six months of rest after disgorgement.
A partial malolactic fermentation and a measured intervention of the reserve wines, give this wine a very particular, wide and generous character with the provocation of a hint of elegant acidity.
Pale gold in color, it has a rich and subtle bouquet with notes of white flowers and hawthorn.
