Grappa of Bassano Capovilla
Obtained from pomace vinified with very low sulfur content, these grappas are the noble expression of a "poor" product.
Combination based on merlot and cabernet, complemented by other vines such as Tokay, this Grappa is the only one that can bear the name "Di Bassano" (del Grappa), historic city of this Italian alcohol. In fact, the four wine producers of this municipality work exclusively with the Capovilla distillery! This low grade grappa is a perfect introduction to traditional Italian brand brandy. On the nose, it is particularly expressive and complex, with notes of white fruits (pear) and herbaceous. In the mouth, it is both soft and dry, on the pear, the red grapes as well as the almond with persistent vegetal notes. The finish is of medium length, with fruity and herbaceous notes.
