Raw material
Ancient Bordeaux variety with red berried grapes, deriving from the vitis viturica. Very widespread in France, it was easily subject to pouring (anomalous production of bunches consisting of a few berries) and for this reason it was abandoned.

In Italy it has always survived on the Berici Hills, where it can reach the full level of ripeness.

It is often confused with Cabernet Franc.

Artisanal distillation
The FRATELLI BRUNELLO Distillery has always used a discontinuous direct steam system, one of the few still in operation, conducted at low pressure and low temperature. It is made up of 4 boilers strictly in copper, as tradition dictates.

The distillation cycle is very slow and involves the processing of small batches of (cooked) marc which lasts about an hour and a half.

Tasting
Despite deriving from a full-bodied vine, this Grappa has a very soft, harmonious and very round taste.

Olfactory it produces a delicate aroma of cherry and wild strawberries.

Service
To better appreciate its organoleptic characteristics, this grappa should be tasted in tulip-shaped glasses, at a temperature between 12 ° and 15 °.

Alcohol content and packaging
44 Alc. 700 ml bottle with cardboard box.
