Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey Sherry Cask Finished Limestone Branch Distillery
Bottled by Limestone Branch Distillery, this rye whiskey is named after the ancestor of the founders: Minor Case Beam. Part of the famous Beam family that produces bourbon, Minor Case worked as a distiller until 1920, when the ban forced him to stop, and died less than a year after the ban on his life's passion was lifted.
This is a two year old rye whiskey that has been finished in sherry casks for six months. It has notes of sweet fruit, warm spices and oak.
Nose: Earthy notes and sweet sherry
Palate: A touch of caramel dessert
Final: Soft, with hints of dried fruit
