Extremely easy to drink and versatile, this rum is produced in Peru with a vertical column distillation technique in Scottish stills.
Aging with the four-layer Solera method (i.e. stacking the barrels on four floors and drawing the rum from the top to the ground) is 15 years and the result is an enjoyable and rich rum, never cloying. The traditional coating of the bottle is decorated with the typical North Peruvian colors and is handmade by the local women with the Toquilla palm straws, the one also used for Panama hats. This traditional and fascinating packaging distinguishes this unique and versatile product, ideal to drink straight or in cocktails before and after dinner.
