Today Cantine Briamara has about 10 hectares all planted with Erbaluce with different farms: in Caluso we have kept the traditional "topie" or "palere", a system that allows excellent vigor of the plant, while in Cuceglio and Parella we have evolved in breeding espalier with a double guyot, but always leaving the right breath and vent to the vine.
The brothers Federico and Silvia Stefini formally found and lead the project and the cellar of 1701 today.
Together with their collaborators they take care of the eleven hectares of one of the oldest wine-growing properties in the area, three hundred years of history and an extraordinary vineyard of four hectares surrounded by 11th century walls. We work on the basis of a choice shared with conviction: the principles and methods of organic and biodynamic viticulture.
This approach, far from any forcing and chemical intervention, is also a philosophy of life, a way to approach the vineyard, understand it and respect it in its life cycle until, in the bottle, it fully expresses its vitality, character and virtue: first of all authenticity and maximum enhancement of the terroir, in all its expressions.
A E DOR
Created in 1858 by Amédée Edouard DOR, the distillery prepares the finest Cognacs with original and meticulous passion.
Abuelo rums, a rum producer in Panama, are distinguished by their tasty and full-bodied but very soft taste. In fact, the tradition of this distillery dates back to 1908 when Don José Valera Blanco, a young Spanish immigrant, opened, in the town of Pesé, the first sugar factory in the then newly born republic of Panama. Factory which, in 1936, by the will of the three sons of the founder, was transformed into a distillery. Since then the Valera family has established itself as the first distillate company in Panama. The raw material, cane sugar, from which Rum Abuelo is produced, comes from the same peninsula.
Historical evidence traces the winemaking vocation of the hills of the Marca Trevigiana back to the Middle Ages. Here excellent white wines were produced which, as it was written in 1606, were exported and appreciated "in Venice, in Germany and as far away as Poland".
It was a natural selection that imposed the Glera in this wine court of the Alta Marca and above all in the Valdobbiadene area where it has reigned since then on the steep slopes of the Pliocene hills. The environment is severe, we are close to the first Dolomite peaks, but well protected and kissed by the warm light of midday.
It is here, in this environment with very solid roots of peasant labor and rich traditions, that our history begins.

Akashi White Oak
The White Oak distillery was founded in 1888 but has only been producing whiskey in a traditional way and in small quantities since 1919.
The actual distillation process instead began in 1984, the year in which the company built a new plant. Before that, all the whiskey produced was used in a variety of blends known as the "White Oak".

The winemaking cellar is the heart of Altùris, the safe of our wines.
We wanted to create it in a hollow at the base of the hills: all our grapes come together in this structure rich in high technology and design. The production is destined for 70% to white wines and 30% to red wines.
An ancient eighteenth-century coffee fazenda, set between rivers and imperial palms, vast plains and plantations, an authentic earthly paradise, created specifically for the production of gin, to become the first gin-only distillery in Brazil and the largest distillery artisan gin from Latin America, located in the Paraiba valley, within the State of Rio de Janeiro. We are the only Latin American distillery to have obtained the Best Artisan Producer in the World Award (World Gin Awards, London, 2018). Yes, this is where Gin Amazzoni is made, proudly artisanal, local, independent.
The history of Amrut Distillerie is as old as the history of independent India. Today's success was possible thanks to the will of the Jagdale family who for generations have worked hard to find the best distillate.
The origins of the Clouet family are lost in the mists of time. Distant ancestors held the position of the king's printer for several hundred years. It took the Clouet family more than two centuries and several generations to build their collection of vineyards, the divine old masters of our home in Bouzy.
André Clouet's descendants took over his estate, ensuring it remained in the family. The property had aged but has now been modernized and the team working to anticipate the Maison André Clouet is above all inspired by the desire to preserve the personality of its champagnes.
The bottles are exported to all five continents, but destined only to a few because production is unfortunately limited.
These fabulous vintages are haunting, from the moment they meet the eyes to the moment on the lips.
The history of the brand began during the Second World War. Having been wounded in battle, André Delorme left the front and returned to Rully in Burgundy. Upon his return in 1942, André Delorme founded his own company. His wines and sparkling wines quickly gained a reputation and were selected by the best restaurants. A few years later his son joined the company; new vines were planted and the area grew to cover a wide range of names, among the most reputed in the Côte Chalonnaise. Over the years, the reputation of the area's wines has gone beyond the French borders.
ANERI was born from the skilful hand of Giancarlo Aneri, considered by many to be the prince of marketing. His path can be considered a university case history.
To be successful - says Aneri - you need to know where you want to go. When I started my business in the world of wine, I made a project, I chose a product, Prosecco first. Fresh and fragrant as it is, by virtue of its versatility it is an Italian wine par excellence. A product that the world envies us because it was born in a delimited area near Venice and has no equal in the world. Our company controls the production of three farms that produce prosecco grapes at the highest quality level and had the honor of accompanying the toast for the 100th anniversary of Juventus, the installation of the Presidents of the Republic Ciampi and Napolitano and of the United States President Barack Obama.
From the forerunner prosecco, the Aneri range has expanded over time and today includes: a great red, Amarone Stella, a precious wine honored by the President of the Italian Council in 2004 to the 25 Heads of State on the occasion of the signing of the European Constitution in Rome and donated to the Eight Great Ones of the Earth during the G8 Summit in L'Aquila in 2009; the Pinot Bianco Leda, an elegant wine with harmonious aromas, produced in Alto Adige; Pinot Nero Ale, ruby red in color with intense and refined aromas, soft and delicate; Gewurztraminer Leda, a fresh and fragrant white, which has conquered even the most refined female palates.
Gewurztraminer Leda Aneri can be recognized with closed eyes but this does not mean that it will cease to amaze at every taste. And the last born in the Aneri house could not be missing, the Spumante Rosè di Sorbara Reny, which immediately rose to the honors of the critics: with a bright red color, it has aromas of violet and lemon and is pleasantly fresh in the mouth. But above all very persistent, like a handful of black cherries. These wines have been appreciated by Putin, Sarkozy, Bush and Cameron; they are consumed in Palazzo Chigi and the Quirinale; are in the wine lists of some of the most prestigious and trendy clubs in the world, from the Four Seasons in New York to the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, from the luxurious hotels of the Orient Express chain to the Starwood Hotels, from the five-star ones of Sir Rocco Forte, at the Palace of Saint Moritz, from the L'Anima restaurant in London, at the Cipriani in Montecarlo, the Stresa in Paris, the San Pietro in New York and the Cracco restaurant in Milan, just to name a few.
The Aneri philosophy is to produce only high quality wines, albeit in limited production, which respect the tradition of the land, the vine and the good life.
If a product is appreciated by those who produce it, it will be easy to offer it around the world. As in other sectors of Made in Italy, customers recognize the credibility of the brand and this is the best guarantee and the secret of a company's success.
The Anfosso company has ancient origins. The production of Rossese di Dolceacqua derives from grapes of own production of the vineyards of Soldano and San Biagio della Cima in Liguria. It is bright ruby red in color, with a predominant fruity note of cassis and wild strawberry on the nose.
The identity of the Anna Spinato winery coincides with almost a century of history of a tenacious Venetian family that has developed a deep bond with the territory which, from the banks of the Piave river, reaches the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, an enchanting area capable of offering the gift of beauty and the privilege of good things. The passion for the land and good wine has spanned the generations and today, Anna Spinato, together with her son Roberto, is at the helm of the winery and creates Doc and Docg wines typical of the area, such as Valdobbiadene, Prosecco, Raboso and Malanotte: splendid wines autochthonous that are flanked by wines from international vines capable of meeting the tastes and needs of markets around the world.
The Anselmet were pioneers in the rediscovery and enhancement of forgotten native vines such as Petit Rouge, Cornalin, Fumin, Mayolet, and Muscat. But they were also courageous spreaders of international grape varieties, grown and vinified according to an authentic Aosta Valley spirit.
Antiche Terre dei Conti
All our vineyards have always been cultivated with the organic protocol, over fifteen years ago the skepticism of many immediately turned into amazement for the excellent harvests like conventional crops rich in chemistry.
The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years, every vintage, every land, every idea that you want to put into action is a new beginning, a new search for ever higher quality margins. The most important and well-known Italian wines come out of the estates in Tuscany.
The Antonio Camillo winery is located in the Tuscan Maremma. Ciliegiolo is one of the grapes that most represent the Maremma, with vineyards that are over 50 years old. Aromas of cherry and red fruits, a light note of wood in the background distinguish the Ciliegiolo by Antonio Camillo.
Historic England distillery famous for its GIN
Area 6 Rock Distributor Wine
Area 6 was born at the end of 2013, the initial project was to identify and select wines that would satisfy our palates. We have not limited ourselves to the choice of companies, but we have gone into greater depth, and we have chosen, within the companies, the products that we have considered suitable for our idea of wine.
We like wines that have pronounced mineral sensations, with a strong character and territoriality. We love wines that leave us thirsty and eager to uncork another bottle. We love flavor, temperament, wines not for everyone, tenacious wines, to be discovered sip by sip, glass after glass.
We have decided to work exclusively and exclusively Italian products, discovering small and medium-sized businesses that have amazed us with their soul, and that perhaps without us they would have remained unknown to enthusiasts.
Antonio Argiolas in the late thirties founded the winery. For decades, he made her grow, and she continued to be there even when she passed the baton to her children. Today his grandchildren, the third generation of the family, work here.
We grow vines and produce wines with sustainable methods, which respect the territory. We use water and soil responsibly: we irrigate rationally, we minimize the use of chemicals, we use a pruning technique that prolongs the life of the stumps. This is how we protect our land, its richness of life, its nature.
Artista - Euphoria
The Amaro Artist was awarded the Gold Medal at the World-Spirits Award 2021 in the Bitter / Amari alle Erbe category and was particularly appreciated for the perfect balance of the herbs and spices used in the recipe.
On the olfactory level, an impeccable balance stands out between the top notes, fresh and consistent, and its delicate bitterness. On the contrary, Artist has proven to be very aromatic on the palate, with the right alternation between floral accents, spices and herbs and with a sumptuous non-prevalent sweetness that gives the product a perfect balance between sweet and bitter.
After making a name for himself in Italy as a consultant and representative of the well-known company Seitz of enotechnological products, the call to home became stronger and stronger. "The 1200 meters of altitude of Meltina were ideal for the refinement of sparkling wines". Reiterer was convinced. “Furthermore, the natural temperature fluctuations of this altitude could allow a natural and peaceful maturation of our wines. It takes at least 24 months to give Arunda sparkling wines that richness, elegance and complexity that made them famous. Some Cuvées rest in the cellar for up to 60 months before the bottles are, as per tradition, opened and sent for sale “.
Caribbean folklore has its fair share of monsters, spirits and things that bump into the night and many of these entities have a connection with rum. One example is the bacoo, a mischievous Guyanese spirit with magical powers.
Similar to a djinn, the bacoo has the power to grant wishes and bring luck to its owner. But there's so much more to the Caribbean's answer to a djinn than meets the eye. You must always be careful what you wish for.
BallabioThe Ballabio company was founded in 1905 by a man, Angelo Ballabio, and his dream: to create his own classic sparkling wine, with fermentation in the bottle, of Pinot Noir grapes only, capable of comparing itself with the best Champagne of the time.To speak of the founder today is to remember a rare man, known and loved as one of the pillars of Oltrepadana sparkling wine. Eclectic figure of self-taught wine, he wanted to shape something of his own, with connotations such as to emerge, however, from the anonymous mass of small local production still lacking that commodity identity that the consumer rigorously demands.
The Balter Farm in Rovereto in Trentino produces the grapes that produce elegant wines in the ten hilly hectares. The climatic conditions characterized by daily temperature variations, by the enjoyment of the sun from morning until sunset thanks to the southern exposure of the existing ones and finally by the breath of the Ora del Garda, an afternoon wind that punctually rises every afternoon, Vallagarina gives value to the wines white and red.
The Barley craft brewery, founded in 2006 thanks to the strong passion for high quality beers of the two partners Nicola Perra and Isidoro Mascia, is a small and creative artisan reality that aims to include its products in the mid-range restaurant table. high, according to a diffusion line parallel to the wine. All the beers are unpasteurized, unfiltered and refermented in the bottle: a production method that allows the beer to refine, making its aromas and flavors in continuous and surprising evolution and giving the product optimal digestibility.
The Bedin family farm is located in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana, at the foot of the fertile hilly area of Montello and the Asolo hills from which it takes its name. From the best grapes, selected and harvested by hand in the ancient hilly vineyards, Prosecco Asolo DOCG Superiore is born, the flagship of the winery's production and the progenitor of an entire line of sparkling and sparkling wines with controlled designation of origin.

8 great vineyards Between Veneto and Friuli Venezia-Giulia. The Belcorvo Tenuta extends over 8 different wine-growing areas between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. And the climate of the area is affected by the proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the different types of soil, mostly clayey, rich in salt and fertile.
This very particular company setting, all aimed at sparkling winemaking carried out with the most noble, complex and meticulous of methods, was developed by the will of Giuseppe Bellei, called Beppe, from the mid-seventies. The passion for wine and the great ability to taste and understand it, pushed Beppe to develop other sparkling wines with the Classic Method in addition to Lambrusco and to produce a Brut from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes, after selecting French clones of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for his vineyards.
Following the retirement of his parents, Claude Beaufort took over the family management of the company with his wife, thus reaching the sixth generation of winemakers. They cultivate 4 hectares of vineyards located in the 100% Grand Cru commune of Ambonnay. Ambonnay is a small town of a thousand inhabitants located in the Reims Mountain and is part of the 17 municipalities classified as Grand Cru 100% out of the 312 municipalities that make up Champagne. This producer is classified as RC (Recoltant Cooperative) because, having a very small company, he could not afford to buy cutting-edge machinery and for this reason he relies on the Ambonnay Cooperative to make wine, where he is also the administrator.
The BenRiach distillery is located in the heart of Speyside one of the most famous whiskey regions in north east Scotland. Its name derives from the Gaelic "the hill of the red deer." Founded in 1898 by John Duff who has developed over the years a range of products that today is surprising, both for quality and for its variety.
In the Bepi Tosolini Distillery the slow phases and the low production of traditional plants have marked the time of quality for almost a century. It takes wisdom and attention to separate and select the "good taste" from the rest of the distillate because this is what counts in the production of grappa. Only the best part becomes brandy of Bepi Tosolini who has always signed his signature grappas.
Bepin De Eto
In Veneto, among the Conegliano hills, I love to grasp the essence of things with passion and place it in the right order to generate excellent wines and sparkling wines. This is my commitment, that search for quality, learned from my father Giuseppe, Nicoletto's nephew, for all, Bepin De Eto.
The charm of the Berlucchi winery does not stop at its ancient heart, the itinerary continues through galleries and niches where the bottles find the ideal environment for their refinement. The historical archive is curious, with the bottles "at the tip" of the most significant vintages, preserved to evaluate their evolution over time. For years the company has eliminated the use of allergenic substances such as eggs and milk from the production cycle. It then joins the Ita.Ca project for monitoring carbon dioxide emissions, and has installed a powerful photovoltaic system on the roof of the winemaking cellar that meets 35 percent of its energy needs.
As soon as it is born, the brandy rests in stainless steel containers, but when it shows particular organoleptic characteristics, it is placed in barrels of different essences to begin its slow and patient maturation process. By definition, grappa is aged when it rests, for a period equal to or greater than a year, in wood. And of course, the longer it stays, the greater the scent, the softness, the sweetness. All our aged grappas begin their journey in the Cantina dei Tini. This cellar houses 13 Slavonian oak vats, a wood particularly suitable for the maturation of spirits in large barrels.
The Bertani winery is located in the middle of a green basin, a unique and exclusive place in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. Known as one of the most prized regions in Italy for its vineyards, Veronese is a varied land with a long winemaking tradition that can now boast the largest number of DOC wines in the peninsula. Wines whose fame has always reached the world, such as Valpolicella, Soave, Amarone.
Company located in the municipality of Chamery, premier cru on the west side of the Reims mountain. The ten hectares of property are divided into the municipalities of Chamery, Ecuil, Ville Domange, Mont Bre. In the third generation of Vigneron Chantal and Didier Bertrand they only work their own grapes in respect of the Champenoise tradition, always trying to improve the quality and elegance of the three cepages (pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay) typical of the area to which they belong.
We know every inch of the hills from Conegliano to Pieve di Soligo in depth, the places that give flavor and aroma to our wines. We believe that understanding the land and knowing how to interpret it is the only way to give life to a quality Conegliano Valdobbiadene, capable of being the spokesperson for a territory, its aromas and flavors, but also its history and tradition. This is where BiancaVigna is born, with the unique character of the 30 hectares of vineyards in the DOCG and DOC areas of Alta Marca Trevigiana, between Conegliano, the city of Cima, Pieve di Soligo, capital of the Quartier del Piave and Valdobbiadene, the absolute protagonist of the history of Prosecco. We grow our own grapes and try to bring in our bottles something of each of these places in an ideal mix of moods and flavors that in the end are the mirror of our history.
Brunello di Montalcino Biondi-Santi is the first Brunello in history and for 150 years it has embodied the vision that inspired Clemente Santi in the creation of its first expression in the nineteenth century. Today, as then, it is a distinct wine, with a complex and refined personality.
It is from the steep hills of Valdobbiadene that Bisol's dream comes to life: to create the purest interpretation of Prosecco Superiore.
A real "cave" dug into the precious rock and earth of Prosecco, which maintains a temperature between 10 ° and 15 ° C all year round and which perfectly preserves some of the historic Bisol bottles, the most prestigious produced over the centuries.
The first winery dates back to 1883 and was built in Soave, a medieval town south-east of Verona, by Abele Bolla, owner of the "Al Gambero" inn. His pioneering spirit and his iron will determined the birth of the first family winery. In almost half a century of activity, the Bolla family exported Veronese wines to dozens of markets already immediately after the war. On April 13, 1953, on the occasion of Alberto Bolla's 80th birthday, his children and grandchildren surprised his grandfather by bottling his favorite wine with a special label: Amarone Bolla Riserva del Nonno, vintage 1950. It was from this happy intuition that luck began of Amarone, the current icon of Valpolicella excellence: the Bolla brothers were the first to market it.
The 178 hectares of the house are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, spread over seven main vineyards: Aÿ, Avenay, Tauxières, Louvois et Verzenay are planted with Pinot Noir, Cuis with Chardonnay and Champvoisy with Pinot Meunier. Bollinger is one of the very few champagne houses to produce the majority of their grapes for their blends. Pinot Noir represents 60% of the Maison's vineyard, corresponding to the exact proportion of this demanding grape in the Special Cuvée blend. Complex and powerful, it provides Bollinger wines with their remarkable structure. Another of Bollinger's distinctive features are two plots, Clos Saint-Jacques and Chaudes Terres, which never succumbed to phylloxera, the disease that devastated nearly the entire champagne wine area in the early 20th century. These ungrafted vines are entirely hand-cured and reproduced using a form of layering called provignage, thus providing the means to preserve this extraordinary heritage from which the exclusive Vieilles Vignes Françaises cuvée is produced.
The Bonollo company is a point of reference in the quality grappa market thanks to an inimitable history and philosophy… it begins to experience the centenary art of making grappa as early as the nineteenth century in the Vicentine Pre-Alps.
From the unique combination of the experience of generations of Bonollo distillers with the best of technology applied to all stages of the production process, the Bonollo Single System is born ...
If the Valdobbiadene Docg of Bortolin Angelo Spumanti is an authentic expression of the territory in which it is born, this bond with nature and its forms had to somehow also be expressed in its external appearance. It is precisely with this intent that the winery has developed an ambitious project, which took shape starting from the 2014 harvest: the genesis of a personalized, unique and absolutely original bottle. The intuition came one morning while Desiderio and his father Angelo, founder of the company, were in the vineyard preparing the shoots for the upcoming season. Angelo saw a splendid large branch twisted around itself and showed it to Desiderio, taking it with one hand exactly as one picks up a bottle of sparkling wine.
Having earned his diploma as a wine technician at the Conegliano Enological School a few years ago, in 1947 Umberto Bortolotti realized his aspirations, giving life to the Cantine in Valdobbiadene in the pioneering spirit and fervor typical of the post-war period. Seriousness and enthusiasm immediately gave him prestige and in 1954 the company was moved to its current location which, originally a factory and farm, became the subject of subsequent renovations and expansions in response to changing needs.
The evolution, inherent in the development of the productive activity, never betrayed the personal and professional ethics to refer to. And in fact seriousness, industriousness and respect will subsequently be inherited today also by his son Bruno and his nephew Daniele at the management of the cellars, today one of the historical wineries of the Valdobbiadenese area. The Cantine Umberto Bortolotti company, referring to the local wine tradition, which is accompanied by an advanced sparkling wine technique, and above all making a qualitative choice with all its suppliers operating along the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, has been presenting its sparkling wines for over seventy years quality.
Specialized in the production of Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore, it has for a long time maintained a relationship of trust and ever-growing need with its suppliers, in order to protect and promote the strong territorial identity of a viticulture defined by many as "heroic". And the same report asks those who choose its products.
Braida is Raffaella's overwhelming laugh and Giuseppe's absorbed gaze. Two brothers who carry in their genes and gestures the heritage of an exceptional family of Italian wine. A heritage that with everyday work they consolidate and expand, sharing the best fruits with the beautiful team of collaborators, with the essential hometown, Rocchetta Tanaro, and with all the people who love their wines.
Bricco dei Guazzi
We cultivate native vines of Monferrato, with incursions into the Langhe and Gavi. Intense, elegant, authentic flavours. This is how our wines must be because this is how we want to produce them. A viticulture of precision and research in which there is our personality. Proud and determined like the land we come from.
Buvoli - L'Opificio del Pinot Nero
Passions are the vital energy of work and since rock is the other great passion of Marco & friends, then even in the cellar you go to music anytime and anywhere, because we are sure of it: Pinot Nero likes it too.
Positive vibrations and rock rhythm to always work respecting the raw material with accurate and delicate movements, following nature and gravity. Healthy grapes, whole bunches, maceration and fermentation in steel tanks or wooden vats, refinements in barriques and tonneaux, always different by place and year to extract the maximum natural potential from each vineyard.
Cà dei Conti
In Tregnago, in Val d'Illasi, in the DOC Valpollicella territory, the Rancan family has lived and worked the land for hundreds of years.
The brothers Renzo and Loredana decided to continue the family tradition and in 2007 the Cà dei Conti farm was born. In 2009, Fabio, an expert and eclectic winemaker, and Eugenio, a grower with a long and proven experience, entered the winery.
Here is the turning point that starts the adventure.
Work in the vineyard begins with the arrangement of the older plants. The planting of ancient varieties, not very productive but of inestimable value, such as Croatina and Oseleta, is resumed. In 2010 the first vintage and everything says that, even if aurdua this is the right way.
Cà di Frara
The company was founded in 1905, when Giovanni Bellani, great-grandfather of the current owner Luca, bought in the municipality of Mornico Losana, in the hamlet of Casa Ferrari (Cà di Frara in the local dialect), some plots of land planted with vines in an ideal position for growing of the vine. By combining these with other lands in the municipality of Oliva Gessi, an island of splendid hills is created, sheltered from the east and west winds by higher hills, a basin with a microclimate characterized by a mild temperature in winter and uniformly warm and breezy in summer. The territory, the climate and the 110 years of experience and passion have made possible the development of wines of excellent quality.
Ca' d' Gal
The history of Ca 'd' Gal begins with these three fundamental elements:
men who love and respect their land, vineyards that draw ideal nourishment from that land, wines that, thanks to the grapes of those same vineyards, are able to express the depth and uniqueness of an exemplary union.
We are in Santo Stefano Belbo, precisely in Valdivilla and for generations, our family has been linked to these hills and to their being the beating heart of Moscato d'Asti.
Ca' del Bosco
Wine is a real value that gives us the unreal ”. Ca 'del Bosco starts from this statement by Luigi Veronelli with a clear purpose: to express a different idea of "wine civilization", creating a privileged relationship between the qualities of its structures, territories, men, wine and art. to obtain the DOC in the now distant 1967, Franciacorta quickly acquires a prestigious reputation, enhanced by the products of its land and by the commitment of those who have wisely invested resources and ideas in quality oenology.
Tenuta Ca 'Lojera, belonging to the Tiraboschi family, means precisely "house of wolves".
The winery vinifies only its own grapes, harvested on 20 hectares of vineyards; raised on flat, compact clayey soil the white of Lugana and on the hills those of Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The company produces an average of 160,000 bottles of wine per year, distributed on the national market to restaurants, wine bars and wine bars and also exported to a good percentage.
Franco and Ambra Tiraboschi have sometimes been defined as a cuvée of courage and madness, but their Luganas, among the most regular in the denomination, have their feet firmly planted on the ground: their most legible quality is their concreteness.
Ca 'Rugate is a Venetian farm that produces local wines capable of telling, in a simple and natural way, the land from which they are born, that of Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. A company that has been able to innovate by reinterpreting traditions and investing in the vineyards most suited to the production of historic vines. A history spanning more than 100 years, inseparably linked to the Tessari family for four generations and to that dark and volcanic land of the Rugate hill, near the center of Brognoligo, where it all began.
Campo al Pero
Our company, Azienda Agricola Campo al Pero was born in 2006, on the gentle slopes of Bolgheri and is the result of a slow but thoughtful research work. It is the result of our great passion for wine and for the Tuscan land and the strenuous research, the long inspections, the thoughtful analyzes as well as a few moments of anxiety have led to the great joy of seeing a dream come true, even if, initially, only in a small company with about 4 hectares of vineyards.
Cantina della Volta
La Cantina della Volta was founded in 2010 on the initiative of a group of friends passionate about wine who asked Christian Bellei to share a new project in the wine sector: to give continuity to the production of wines in the Modena area according to the Classic Method, widely used in France , better known as the Champenoise Method, that is the natural fermentation in the bottle.
Cantina Esacktal Valle Isarco
As a Cooperative Winery, we strongly believe in the value of uniting small winemakers with the aim of also fostering in future generations that indissoluble bond that has existed for centuries in Valle Isarco between the people and this extreme territory where our heroic wines are born. Our white wines are among the most sought after in South Tyrol, thanks to the excellent quality of the grapes and the careful processing.
Cantina PrimaVena wines will satisfy you for their purity, given by genuineness and frankness; and for the complexity conferred by elegance and uniqueness.
Cantina PrimaVena is not a leader in the sector, it is a small winery that day after day gives its best to make the good of Italy known to the world.
The Cantina Rotaliana is located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, at the foot of the splendid Dolomites, near Lake Garda and the city of Trento, famous for the Ecumenical Council of the Catholic Church held between 1545 and 1563. the most renowned wine-growing areas of Trentino, is the home of Teroldego Rotaliano. he Cantina Rotaliana is also distinguished by a fine selection of white wines and Trentodoc.
The grapes destined for the production of these wines come from the hilly vineyards surrounding the Piana Rotaliana, as well as from the Val di Cembra and the Val di Non.
The passion for the world of spirits was born by chance in '74, the year in which I started working on machinery for oenology. Numerous trips abroad, in particular Switzerland, Germany and Austria, allowed me to discover the world of distillation which, unlike what happened in Italy, founded the foundations on a completely different culture. At that time in our country everyone had the ambition to distill "something" at home, without however having the skills to do so. In the cellars there were only beautiful stills that did not produce anything good. It was a long and tiring journey. Those who encouraged me were my importers who I still have in other countries.
Renato and Roberta Cecchin winemakers in the volcanic soils of Lessini and Gambellara. Autochthonous Durella and Garganega: artisanal viticulture with respect for nature.
Casa Divina Provvidenza
Established in 1821, the "Casa Divina Provvidenza" farm, sold by the Vatican state to the Cosmi family, has returned to its former glory by focusing on tradition, on the history of a territory like Neptune and on the rediscovery of native vines, a unique heritage in Lazio for more of 2 centuries. The Cosmi have been winemakers for 3 generations, devoted to the enhancement of a wonderful fruit of the earth: grapes.
The company has chosen to give the best for its tradition by producing quality wines, with modern technologies, choosing the best machinery and specializing, thus combining ancient values and modernity, establishing a company that believes in the future and in work. Today a wing of the farmhouse is the occasional residence of the owners while the rest is dedicated to the processing of wine, up to the bottling and packaging of the product. Adjacent to the cellar there is the Company Enoteca with the tasting room, a destination for tourists and local people.
Casale del Giglio
Casale del Giglio was founded in 1967 by Dr. Berardino Santarelli, originally from Amatrice, and is located in the Agro Pontino in the locality of Le Ferriere, Municipality of Aprilia, in the province of Latina, about 50 km south of Rome. This territory represented, compared to other areas of Lazio and other regions of Italy, an environment to be explored from a wine-making point of view. For this reason, in 1985 the “Casale del Giglio” research and development project was set up, authorized by the Lazio Region Agriculture Department.
Castello del Poggio
The estate is the result of the great wealth of experience, knowledge and love for the vineyard of the Zonin family. Purchased in 1985, it now covers 186 hectares, of which 160 are vineyards, which form an enchanting amphitheater of rows at an average altitude between 250 and 350 meters. The climate is typically continental and is influenced by the barrier that the Alps and the Apennines oppose to the south-western winds.
The Castello del Poggio estate is committed to enhancing the indigenous vines of excellence of Piedmont, such as Barbera, Dolcetto, Brachetto, Moscato d'Asti and Grignolino, which in this area express the best varietal characteristics and which historically it is considered the "cru" area par excellence.
Castello del Terriccio
Castello del Terriccio is one of the largest agricultural properties in Tuscany: approximately 1500 hectares in total, of which 65 are destined for vineyards and 40 for olive groves, extending along the northern limit of the Tuscan Maremma near Bolgheri.
The fortunate combination of soil, air and light make this microcosm unique where nature and the intervention of man are integrated with balance, who, with foresight, has been able to safeguard the biodiversity of the territory over time, maintaining the presence of different crops and spontaneous vegetation next to the vineyards.
The estate offers views of rare beauty and charm: the vineyards alternate with forests of turkey oaks, oaks, eucalyptus trees and the Mediterranean scrub that colors and perfumes the landscape. Beyond the scrub there are still meadows, farmhouses, grassy expanses sloping down to the sea which limits the Maremma coast between Castiglioncello and Bibbona. The many streams and the lake that collects them ensure water for the flora and abundant wildlife.
From the property you can see, on clear days, four islands of the Tuscan archipelago. At sunset, the spectacle of the fiery sun disappearing into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The ruins of the medieval castle that gives the estate its name are located on the highest hill, the one that enjoys the highest view.
In addition to vineyards and olive groves, the property includes an important Limousine cattle breeding in the wild.
Castello di Gussago
The grapes from each vineyard are harvested by hand and vinified separately so that every peculiarity is preserved and enhanced in the true expression of our territory. The company philosophy aims to respect the characteristics of the grapes, enhancing and preserving their quality, guaranteeing a conservative type of enology aimed at enhancing the natural characteristics of the grapes produced and respecting the combination of vine and environment.
Castello di Rubbia
Obtained in the womb of the rock of a karst promontory and embellished with a stylistic canon that refers to the ancient domed vaults, our cellar is a perfect synthesis between modernity and tradition.
The living karst rock walls of the cellar tell the geology of millions of years of history with fossils and minerals.
In this place, from the grapes of our vineyard, the Castello di Rubbia wines are born: they find their identity in the slow flow of spontaneous macerations and fermentations that can last for months. In the silence of the long refinements on the yeasts they find their own identity, each with their own rhythm walks in search of stability, or balance, the first axiom for a wine that is about to embark on a new life in the bottle, without the need for filtration.
This period varies from 2 to 5 years before presentation and public availability.
Castello di Spessa
Elegant, mineral, persistent wines of remarkable freshness and great drinkability directly to your home. The wines of Castello di Spessa are refined in the medieval cellars and in the bunker, dug under the castle during the Second World War but only discovered in 1987 during the renovation of the castle. Located about 18 meters deep, at a constant temperature of 14 degrees, the bunker is the ideal place for refining the estate's fine wines.
In the heart of Salice Salentino, Castello Monaci stands out. The Castle and the Cellar are surrounded by about 3,000 olive trees and 150 hectares of vineyards which represent one of the most significant models of the innovative Salento viticulture. The vineyards are trained with spurred cordon. Below a first clayey layer of about 1 meter the roots meet a wide band of tuff, a typical porous and friable white stone. In periods of great drought it acts as a water resource for the vine, giving the wines flavor and minerality.
The Castelvecchi winery has an area of about 1,000 square meters and enjoys exceptional natural air conditioning (constant 18 ° degrees). It is divided into six rooms: one for welcoming guests, two for winemaking, three for aging in oak barrels and barriques.
The surrounding landscape is truly unique: all around is a wonderful setting of vineyards and olive groves that surrounds the town of Radda and right in front of the winery stands the ancient village of La Volpaia in all its splendor. In this privileged place it seems that history stopped at the magical Middle Ages.
The style and the name Cavicchioli become more and more a point of reference in the world of Lambrusco Modenese, up to today, where the Cavicchioli Cellars can rightly be called the synthesis of an epic of Emilian wine that from a family saga has become a viticultural reality kept in the portfolio of the major brands of a national reality.
The history of the Cecchetto winery is firmly intertwined with that of its land and its most important grape, the Raboso del Piave, a vine difficult to tame but capable of striking with its rough, bold, sometimes grumpy character. Of this winery you can taste different tests, interpretations, versions, experiments, discuss woods, refinements, harvests, winemaking strategies, withering concerning this vine of the Treviso province traditionally prone to angularity and here interpreted according to a more modern style.
Le Cantine Ceci, was born in 1938 and today produces some of the most appreciated products of the territory, from the legendary Lambrusco “Terre Verdiane” to the great “Otello Nero di Lambrusco”. The rapid expansion began in the 90s, with the birth of the Lambrusco Terre Verdiane, with which this vine experienced a new youth and unexpected prestige.
Lamberto Cesarini Sforza, in 1974, founded, together with a small group of friends, the homonymous winery with the aim of producing high quality sparkling wines.
In a few years Lamberto Cesarini Sforza managed to select a good number of excellent vineyards of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, personally supervising the management of the funds, the choice of grapes and the strengthening of the winemaking systems.
Thus the foundations were laid for the birth of Cesarini Sforza sparkling wines, which in a short time managed to conquer a prominent place in the world of Trentino and Italian sparkling wines: in 1976 the first Cesarini Sforza sparkling wine was born, elaborated according to the classic method; in 1985 a daring classic method Rosé was produced from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the hills of the Cembra Valley and subsequently, thanks to continuous viticultural and enological research, in 1986 the first Royal Aquila Reserve was born, produced using only Chardonnay grapes grown above 500 m.
In the parish archives of Pressano the surname Cesconi appears for the first time in 1751. From that moment the roots of our family have grown, together with the vineyards, on these hills.
Some documents attest to the purchase of the Olivar vineyard at the beginning of the nineteenth century, whose Nosiola, thanks to the initiative of the great-grandfather Bernardino transported on ox-drawn carts, reached Innsbruck. Subsequently, grandfather Rinaldo, with the help of his son Paolo, began to supply wine to various taverns in the nearby city of Trento. In the following years Paolo succeeds, with great commitment, in increasing the company surface, and with the support of his sons Alessandro, Franco, Roberto and Lorenzo, the modern history of our company begins.
From experience was born the conviction to eliminate the use of all synthetic chemicals. By observing nature we have arrived at the biological conversion of all our vineyards. The deep knowledge of our territory and the daily attention to our vineyards allows us to harvest healthy grapes, thus limiting as much as possible the intervention on the wine in the cellar.
The production of wine is accompanied by a limited production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, intense and pure, coming from centuries-old olive trees in the Valle dei Laghi.
Located in the heart of Reims, the production site of the company extends for five hectares and has three levels of cellars in which the wines can develop at their best and reach their complete maturity. Castelnau is a brand specialized in long aging on yeasts. The Maison produces 600,000 bottles from 900 hectares divided between 150 different crus.
Created in honor of General Edouard de Curières de Castelnau in 1916, Champagne de Castelnau became famous during the First World War. Since 1925, and for three generations, Champagne de Castelnau has been owned by a family from Epernay.
Very popular for a good part of the twentieth century, particularly in the 1930s, Champagne de Castelnau is, all over the world, the guest of honor of royal families and circles of the French army. In 1962, in Reims, a dozen winemakers combined their vineyards and their skills to create the Regional Cooperative of Champagne Wines, a cooperative that, in 2003, bought Champagne de Castelnau.
Today, the cooperative has one of the largest vineyards in the Champagne region and has made Champagne de Castelnau its most representative brand.
Château Pey La Tour
For connoisseurs and amateurs, Bordeaux often recalls the world of Grand Cru Classé wines, the true elite of Bordeaux, indeed of the world, unrivaled icons in good wine circles. But Bordeaux is also associated with less prestigious appellations, where great wines can still be produced on excellent soils. And that is precisely why we acquired Château Pey La Tour in 1990, totally committed to revealing the full potential of this extraordinary terroir and creating a magnificent, distinctive, complex and elegant wine. Patrizio Jestin.
For Château Pey La Tour, sustainability is at the heart of its approach and has adopted environmentally friendly practices that respect nature, the soil and man. Since the 2018 vintage, Château Pey La Tour has benefited from the Terra Vitis and High Environmental Value (HVE) environmental certifications.
Cihuatán is a pre-Columbian archaeological site of great historical importance in Central America located in El Salvador. The city, with architecture with clear Aztec influences, was built and inhabited between 900 and 1200 AD by indigenous Maya-Pipil. Cihuatan was very extensive and its remnants cover about three square kilometers, with seven neighborhoods surrounding the city center, each with its own ceremonial buildings, including some Mayan pyramids. To date, about 150 structures have been identified, of which only a small part has been brought to light. Chiuatàn translated means "near the woman", a name that derives from the shape of the nearby Guazapa mountain, whose profile recalls the silhouette of a woman sleeping on her back.
Col di Rocca
In the heart of the Prosecco district of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, is the Col di Rocca winery. From here the "Prosecco Coldirocca" comes to life, the winery is committed to playing the role of skilful interpreter of the "genius loci" of the Venetian land. The company owned by Antonio Faganello, new as a structure but old of tradition and winemaking experience handed down from father to son since 1889, is spread over 15 hectares of vineyards located in the municipality of Refrontolo and favorably exposed from west to south-west. an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level. The vineyard training systems which are the "silvoz" and "alla cappuccina", added to an adequate planting density, together with a drastic reduction of fertilizers guarantee the excellent quality of the Prosecco grape. Thanks to a substantial decrease in productivity per vine. The wines produced in this company are all obtained from Prosecco grapes owned by the property where with very modern vinification systems we pass from soft pressing to fermentation of the must in containers at a controlled temperature and then in autoclaves for the second fermentation. Prosecco ColSaliz is offered in two versions: sparkling and sparkling.
The force of gravity, natural and avant-garde, is the protagonist of our delivery point, completed in 2010. It is the first transit station for the healthy and ripe grapes of our families of winemakers. Thanks to the force of gravity, in fact, the fruits reach the destemmers and crushers, located in the floor below.
All the red berried grapes are destemmed, crushed and placed directly in the fermentation tanks, while the white berried grapes are partially destemmed or only crushed and carried into the underlying presses. The new membrane presses ensure a delicate process, preserving the precious aromatic substances of the grapes.
Wines that boast an intense and full aromaticity, even after a prolonged refinement in the bottle, enhance a marked fragrance and a limpid varietal character. The fermentation and aging of our wines takes place, depending on the variety, in stainless steel tanks, concrete or wooden barrels. During the vinification phase, the skill and knowledge of our cellar master Martin Lemayr and his team come into play, working to enhance the quality produced by the winemakers with great passion and dedication.
The Concilio brand is the son of the Val d'Adige, a plain quenched by the river Adige and always suited to the cultivation and care of vines.
The historic headquarters of the Concilio winery, today a modern production plant of Cantina Sociale di Trento, was located near one of the villages in the valley, Volano. The winery, located in the heart of the Trentino wine industry, is equipped with cutting-edge technologies suitable for any type of processing. The plant is surrounded by greenery and shows its “green soul” in the choice of the energy necessary for the production process: a photovoltaic system in fact covers a large part of the system's energy needs.
The Conterno Fantino farm, founded in 1982 by Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino, now cultivates 27 hectares of vineyards divided between the four vines, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Chardonnay, and produces 140 thousand bottles a year. Over time, the two founders have been joined with different roles by Alda, Fabio and Elisa Fantino. Soon it will be the turn of Noemi and Matteo Conterno. In addition, about ten employees work full-time in the company. Environmental sustainability, safeguarding biodiversity, respect for the land and its memory, are the guidelines in the management of the vineyards, grown entirely in organic farming (certified by CCPB).
The Conti d'Arco line includes a series of DOC wines from Trentino, selected in the most suitable areas of the region by oenologists who follow every stage of the production process, from the vineyard to the bottle. An area with an ideal soil and climate, Trentino also has a renowned sparkling wine tradition. This is why the range also includes Talento Trento DOC, classic method sparkling wines dedicated to all special occasions.
Founded in 1898 by Salvatore Contini, today it represents absolute excellence within the Sardinian wine scene. The Contini family's journey through the wine roads is long and exciting. Attilio, Salvatore's son, carries on the commitment undertaken by his father. Enlarges the current cellar and enhances the surface of the vineyards.
The company is located in Cabras on the Sinis peninsula a few steps from the Phoenician-Punic city of Tharros, the village of San Salvatore and the archaeological site of "Sa Osa" where grape seeds dating back to 2000 BC were found which are the oldest testimony of the cultivation of the vine in Sardinia.
The experience and strength of the Contini generations produce an excellent wine, the spearhead of the company, Vernaccia. The wine has received important awards: gold medal at the Milan Exposition of 1912 and 1913 and the first Sardinian wine to win the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso in 1989.
But the path of enological experimentation does not stop. Contini products are Vermentino and Cannonau, Nieddera from the vine of the same name and Mamaioa wines, natural wines without added sulphites.
The history of the Coppo company is inextricably intertwined with that of Piedmontese wine, in particular with the development of Canelli, homeland and capital of Italian sparkling wine, still today one of the most important Italian wine-growing poles.
A story of tradition and courageous vision of the future, of sacrifice and innovation. A story that demonstrates the unconditional love of the Coppos for their places of origin, the vines that have always been cultivated in Piedmont and the long family tradition.
The origins of the company date back to 1892 and for over 120 years they followed the fortunes of the family, still the sole owner today. The ability, since its origins, to lead the own vineyards and to vinify and bottle the grapes produced under its own brand make the Coppo winery one of the oldest wineries in Italy. So much so that, in 2012, Unioncamere included the company in the national register of historic companies with more than a century of uninterrupted activity in the same product sector.
Our family, returning to its ancient origins as farmers, decides to embark on an important adventure here: the production of wine aiming at the excellence of its territory. We are a young company which however looks back to its roots, which investigates the potential of its territory and its best products, which wants to bring new energy and enthusiasm into a millenary agricultural history.
Different types of soil give our wines unique properties that unequivocally characterize each product: the basalt soil of Monte Calvarina, the white karst rocks and a land rich in iron from Alonte and limestone rocks in Valpolicella.
The Ferrari family has been linked to Gambellara since 1400, with vineyards and olive trees. From the coast of Monticello it moves up to Monte San Marco, choosing and cultivating the valley.
And it is here, in 2012, that Gianluca Ferrari surprises Vicenza with the construction of a new avant-garde cellar: underground and hexagonal, it is a tribute to the features of the columnar basalt.
In Costa Arente we apply a closed circuit model: we work by hand, as per tradition, we respect the land and its times, each phase of the processing takes place within our farm. A single body of 35 hectares of which 17 are planted with vineyards and the remainder with woods and olive groves: our estate stands on a hill, 250 meters above sea level, in the valley closest to Verona, the Valpantena.
The philosophy of a company cannot be made only of words. The philosophy of a company is the backbone of all the choices that that company makes, in all its fields of action. We believe in our values and our commitment is to always act in compliance with them. Only in this way will we be able to obtain a final product that makes us truly satisfied and proud of ourselves as a company, as people, as a family.
Although constantly evolving, the Cotarella family is founded on some immutable pillars. Love for our roots, culture as a continuous exchange, constant research, curiosity, the willingness to innovate and innovate. The passion for our work and the pleasure of listening and sharing. Without all these things we would not be who we are today nor would we be ready to face tomorrow.
Our passion for viticulture and the strong sense of belonging to the territory of origin have pushed us for over thirty years to enhance our wine heritage according to a production philosophy centered on some key values.
Respect for the Earth and its rhythms. In the vineyards almost all the interventions, including the harvest, are done by hand. For us, making wine means respect for the territory, trying to make the most of its potential without ever distorting it.
We want to create an innovative viticulture garrison on Etna that aims at quality and manages to translate the voice of the territory into wine, enhancing the differences that each single district gives to the grapes.
The Curtense microbrewery was born from the passion cultivated since 1998 when the first KIT for making beer at home arrived. However, it was in 2011 that the dream of making beer came true.
We prefer local raw materials, agricultural ingredients from Brescia. We carefully choose - and in some cases produce - the ingredients for our beers.
The particular organoleptic characteristics of Monterotondo water make our beers a unique artisan product.
Christian is the official "master brewer"… When he is absent, Matteo puts his hand to it and does what he does best: experiment.
All our beers ferment naturally, without the addition of additives and carbon dioxide. They are all raw: not pasteurized, unfiltered and refermented.
The history of the Dal Maso family begins at the end of the nineteenth century on the gentle hills of Montebello Vicentino in the province of Vicenza. The founder of the family was Serafino Dal Maso, the great-grandfather and founder of the company. From the end of the 1960s his father, Luigino Dal Maso, marked the great turning point, following, indeed always anticipating, the evolution of the wine market in the 1980s and 1990s. In fact, an important series of investments began, the acquisition of new properties in the most suitable areas of Gambellara, of the Berici Hills south-west of Vicenza, and already in those years he started the first exports to numerous foreign markets. Loyalty to the Venetian territories is what has always characterized the cellar: each wine speaks of the style, the Dal Maso family and the terroir of the Berici Hills, Gambellara and the Lessini Mountains. It is the earth that possesses the qualities, man just has to understand them. Dal Maso wines are the mirror of an artisan knowledge of making wine that turns into research and project, based on the careful study of the peculiarities of each vineyard.
The vineyard has been kept in its original habitat surrounded by woods and meadows. In these hills we grow native vines such as Durella and Garganega and typical vines such as Cabernet Franc, Pinot Nero and Riesling Renano, according to a strict protocol called the Agno Valley Rule, in which the ancient principles of local agriculture have been recovered. . The vinification follows the same path: the minimum possible intervention. From the vine to the wine we process our wines within the property. From the fruit to the bottle we let the typicality of the terroir express itself, which preserves the richness that the soil of our vineyard has brought to the fruit.
The winery is located in Ramandolo, a small town famous for the production of the passito wine of the same name, made unique for its particular microclimate.
We are located at the end of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, about 20 km from Udine. The cultivation of vines in these places dates back to the late 1800s.
Tradition and history that at Dario Coos blend perfectly with the attention and research for high quality productions.
De Buris is not just a wine. De Buris is an enchanted place, a villa rich in history and art whose roots go back to Roman times. Villa De Buris preserves two thousand years of Valpolicella history: Here the De Buris project has found the ideal space to grow and transform.
Here it is the vineyard: we are in the highest part of the La Groletta vineyard, at 250 meters above sea level, with very low yields it has always been considered a privileged area for the quality of the grapes. The best place to give birth to a dream: looking at Lake Garda but protected by the Lessini Mountains, in an ideal position, because the microclimate must be perfect.
The soil, then, is thin and fresh, the main way to reach that ideal of quality that has guided our project.
A growth path started more than twenty years ago by the Tommasi family, one of the protagonists of the history of Amarone and Valpolicella and which is finally realized with the fourth generation. Everything revolves around the one hundred and ten days of drying, a Time for the grapes that will return multiplied in the glass dressed in richness, complexity and depth, after five years of aging and resting in large Slavonian oak barrels.
«The 2009 season passed under the banner of good weather, a year that will remain in the memory of our territory. Ten years of constant and obsessive attention, from harvest to marketing.
In the early 1980s, as beer lovers, we were concerned about the disappearance of many small and medium-sized breweries, when it was the breweries that produced the best beers. Furthermore, at the time, it was worrying to see many excellent beers losing their bitterness in favor of a sweeter taste, on the pretext that the consumer preferred sweetness and had lost the habit of bitter tastes.
In reality, it is the possibility offered by new technologies to use hop extracts rather than cones, and therefore produce at a lower cost, that explains this phenomenon. Furthermore, the world of industrial beer was increasingly convinced that a neutral-tasting beer would reach a wider audience (with a little advertising). These developments have prompted us to act in such a way as to demonstrate that only the best raw materials and respect for traditional methods guarantee quality.
After several years of vine growing, Jean Bovière decided to develop his own Champagne in 1957. He passed on his know-how and his passion to Denis Bovière who in turn passed it on to Florian Bovière who came to join us on the site. ' operating for several years now….
Our vineyard is about 4 hectares 80 composed of 80% of Pinot Noir and 20% of Chardonnay. Age of vines: 35 years on average, the oldest vine of the company was planted in 1938.
In enamelled and stainless steel vats where the fermentation process takes place slowly.
The first "alcoholic" fermentation transforms the juices (or musts) into wines. The yeasts "eat" the sugar and thus produce alcohol and carbon dioxide.
The second "malolactic" fermentation converts malic acid into lactic acid. This fermentation takes place at the end of the alcoholic fermentation. Stabilizes and sweetens the wine by reducing its acidity. Then comes the "filtration" to eliminate the solid particles, the wine today is called "limpid wines".
Then we carry out the assembly, a step that consists in mixing the wine of the different plots and the different vines to obtain a final product, balanced between fruitiness, softness and freshness. And finally the bottling where the second fermentation takes place slowly. It will give the fine bubbles, which contribute to its charm and elegance.
Di Majo Norante
Di Majo Norante has been producing wines from its own grapes since 1800 IN MOLISE north of the Gargano. The predisposition to select clones of native vines through the study of their adaptability to the soil of the southern area is at the origin of all Di Majo Norante wines.
To classic grapes such as Malvasia, Trebbiano, Montepulciano and Sangiovese he first flanked Bombino and Aglianico, and finally the ancient Falanghina and Greco vines for the production of whites. Ellenico-Aglianico, Prugnolo and Tintilia for the reds. Real Moscato for the sweet passito.
Domaine de Canton
Domaine de Canton is a liqueur produced and bottled in France. It is a ginger liqueur that comes from the French tradition in which fresh and sweet flavors are fortified by Cognac and water vine. The production is manual, on the palate it is sweet, with a spicy finish. It is consumed cold, straight, in cocktails.
Domaine Fernand Engel
Alsace is a French wine region that arises, as a sort of Middle-earth, between France and Germany; divided between them by the Rhine and the Vosges mountain range, they both share the strongly mineral matrix of the soil, the climate and the grape varieties.
The only difference that actually distinguishes them is the interpretation that both give to the wines they produce and, in this, Alsace is a champion of intensity and acidity. Very intense and equally dry wines, with an austere character and a marked aromatic outfit.
Gabriel Tortochot, a fervent defender of Burgundy wines, in particular through his work as president of the "Syndicat Viticole de Gevrey-Chambertin" and his role in the "Comité National de L'INAO", has transmitted his passion for the terroir of Gevrey to her children, Brigitte and Chantal. The latter, with a diploma from the Sup de Co Dijon in her pocket, wanted to fly alone. For fifteen years he worked as a management controller for several companies in the Burgundian industrial environment. At the age of 35 he wanted to change direction but before returning he consolidated his training by obtaining a diploma as a technician in oenology, followed by a license in Vine Sciences from the Jules Guyot Institute (University of Burgundy in Dijon). It belongs to this new generation of winemakers who wish to practice viticulture closer to the plant and produce local wines.
Donnafugata was born in Sicily from the initiative of a family that, with passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine in the world.
Giacomo Rallo, the fourth generation of a family with over 160 years of experience in quality wine, founded Donnafugata in 1983 together with his wife Gabriella, a pioneer of viticulture in Sicily.Today the sons José and Antonio lead the company and a team of people oriented to excellence.
Donnafugata would not be the company it is today if Gabriella had given it another name.
The name Donnafugata refers to the novel by Tomasi di Lampedusa the Leopard. A name that means "woman on the run" and refers to the story of a queen who found refuge in that part of Sicily where the company's vineyards are today. A story that inspired the company logo: the image of a woman's head with hair in the wind that stands out on each bottle.
A face that is also that of Gabriella Rallo, the “donnafugata” who abandons her job as a teacher to take care of the Contessa Entellina vineyards full time. One of the first women in Sicily to produce wine in a sector typically dominated by men: a pioneer of quality viticulture for women.
The Dorigati winery is located in the historic center of Mezzocorona, in the province of Trento. As far as white wines are concerned, they carry out a classic white vinification, with temperatures of about 16 ° C to favor the metabolism of yeasts, preventing them from going into stress with the consequent production of unpleasant aromatic substances. The red vinification is instead supported by pumping over, which they believe to be the most delicate method for extracting the polyphenolic substances from the grape skins. The number of these pumpovers varies according to the quality of the grapes as a result of the climatic year. After a maceration of about 8-10 days, the racking follows.
Founded in 1948, Douglas Laing is a proudly independent family-owned Scotch Whiskey business in its third generation. Over 70 years of heritage have helped us refine our processes and deliver Whiskey that is consistently outstanding in its offering.

The Ebner wine estate is located on the sunny Renon plateau, on a rocky spur above the town of Campodazzo, in the southernmost part of the Isarco Valley, with a splendid view of the Sciliar massif and the village of Fiè. Our quality wines are developed in the southernmost part of this valley, under our watchful eye and thanks to loving care. On the sunny and terraced slopes of volcanic origin facing south, red grapes grow, while the white ones prefer the more ventilated slopes to the south-east. These noble drops of the Isarco Valley derive, to a large extent, from a 40-year-old pergola, whose root system, kept vital thanks to delicate pruning, guarantees an ideal supply of nutrients to the grapes, even in periods of greatest drought.
Equipe 5 Cantina di Soave

Essentiae del Salento
The Essentiae liqueur was born with the aim of producing Salento elixirs, strictly maintaining the traditional recipes and ancient procedures observed since ancient times.
Absolutely natural, the extracts are prepared by hand without the use of preservatives, dyes and chemical additives.
The strong and resistant perfume, the intense and unmistakable taste and the bright color are due to the exclusive production process and above all to the use of selected fresh products.
The Japanese word "etsu" translated means pleasure, and it is precisely an intense pleasure that generates this very particular gin. It is produced in an artisanal way according to a secret recipe in good part.
The main botanical notes of the recipe are fresh Okinawa pepper and yuzu, a small Japanese citrus fruit that is particularly fragrant and has a persistent taste.
Etsu looks like a very classy gin: smooth, intense and silky, it opens with a dry hint and then releases a sweet floral flavor on the palate.
Elegant also in its design with the label decorated with classic Japanese iconography embellished with golden details in relief.
Four generations of men in love with the vineyard. We are in the fourth generation of men in love with the vineyard. From the 4 hectares of property prior to the great-great-grandfather in the Cerretta area, one of the best mentions of the Barolo hills, the vineyard area has tripled, reaching today, counting as many as 10 hectares in Serralunga d'Alba and 9 in Cigliè, in Alta Langa.
Great-grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto mainly took care of the vineyard and the sale of grapes, the predominant trade in the area at the time, selling it to manufacturing companies but also to private individuals, and making wine only very small quantities for their own consumption and some friends.
The family grows with the joy of the birth of our two children: Elia (1998) and Maria (2001). In the following years we manage to buy another hectare in the Prapò area, one in Lazzarito, one in Pradone (appendix of the Lazzarito) and another in Cerretta. In 2010 my mother inherits from her cousin Tommaso Canale about half a hectare in the most famous historic vineyard of Serralunga la Vignarionda.
Everclear is a distillery producing Moonshine, which since 2010 has returned to be legal in several countries, including the United States. Moonshine is in fact the name by which alcohol that was illegally distilled without state authorizations was called in jargon in America.
Moonshine is defined as an unaged white whiskey, usually made from corn, its main ingredient. It is produced in two different grades: 75.5% and 95%, the sale of the latter version is still probable in some countries around the world and in some American states.
It was called moonshine because the clandestine distillation took place at night and was generally produced and transported by migrants of Irish and Scottish origin who knew the recipe of what they called in Gaelic "uisce beatha", the water of life.
Fabbrica di Birra Perugia
The feat is due to a group of friends, in love with beer and their roots, determined to give the city back its brewery.
The craft beers produced immediately met with great success, both in the area and outside the region and abroad. Even critics soon became aware of this young reality, literally submerged in prizes and awards: from the European Beer Star to the Brussels Beer Challenge, from the main industry guides to the prestigious Beer of the Year competition.
The idea of the current partners was and is simple, ambitious and a little crazy: to re-found the brewery after almost 90 years and make it one of the best craft businesses in the country. After long studies, research, attempts and sacrifices, Fabbrica Birra Perugia is once again a reality.
After graduating in agriculture and a five-year experience in my father-in-law Michele Satta's cellar, I began my personal adventure, driven by a great passion for wine and for the work of the artisan winemaker.
My vineyard initially consisted of a plot of almost 20 years of age, excellently located at the foot of the Castagneto Carducci hill, it is called Le Pievi, about 4 hectares of excellent land with twenty-year-old vines. Shortly thereafter I also acquired an excellent vineyard of over two hectares of white grapes, especially Vermentino, in the locality of Le Fornacelle.
In 2012 I bought what had always seemed to me an excellent vineyard: Le Gonnare. The name means "the washerwomen" because it is located at the foot of an ancient stream. So a soil of torrential deposits, with a lot of skeleton, facing north, deep and rich in clay. Fresh and very late as regards the ripening of the grapes.
About 7 hectares in all. A small reality, so much so that I can personally follow every little step of cultivation and winemaking.
The Falesco Winery in Montefiascone, Lazio, uses the ancient vines of the area and vineyards, between Lake Bolsena in Lazio, and the city of Orvieto in Umbria.
Passion for viticulture, a strong sense of belonging to the territory of origin and a scientific approach have been the basis of Falesco's production philosophy for over thirty years.
Falezze is a family-run company in Valpolicella, just a few minutes from Verona. A house, surrounded by woods, olive trees and centuries-old vineyards, children of a tradition that has been renewed with each harvest, for more than three generations. A story made up of people, love for the land and deep dedication.
The Falkenstein farm is located on the slopes of Monte Sole in the village of Naturno, above the castle of the same name. It was born as a fruit company, but in 1989 Franz and Bernadette Pratzner decided to abandon the cultivation of apples to devote themselves exclusively to viticulture.
Fattori Vini has vineyards located between 150 and 450 m. At each altitude different vines for different wines, processed and conditioned in a cellar where non-invasive systems and methods have made it possible to almost totally eliminate the use of chemistry.
Fattoria la Rivolta
The cellar, equipped with the most modern equipment, is divided into two structures, one purely technical for winemaking and the other, located inside the ancient farm, where the aging and bottling of wines takes place.
Since 1885 the Fattoria Casetto dei Mandorli di Nicolucci winery has been producing fine wines in Predappio Alta, an area of great historical importance in the viticulture of Romagna.
In the soul that Cristina Geminiani puts into her work there is all this: a way of cultivating the vine, harvesting grapes, transforming it into wine capable of containing the wisdom of tradition and the strength to dare the new.
Each creation of Fattoria Zerbina comes from the deep bond with its land, from listening to the hidden language of its vines, which finds voice and expression through Cristina's sensitivity, instinct and passion. Only then does the land become wine. And it becomes a work of art.

Feudo Antico has chosen a hill in the heart of Abruzzo to build its new home. The remains of an ancient Roman villa and various tools of the time for the conservation of wine, which came to light during the replanting of the first Pecorino vineyards in 2003, did the rest. Our culture rooted in the past has pushed us to carry on the archaeological excavations: our project of care, protection and enhancement of the territory has acquired even more strength and awareness.
Finlaggan was a launch brand for Vintage Malt Whiskey Company Ltd, which focuses on whiskey bottling from the Highlands and Islands. Fontana Candida has two cellars: the wine-making cellar in Frascati and the headquarters and bottling cellar in Monteporzio Catone. The Frascati Doc wine production area includes the entire territories of the municipalities of Frascati, Grottaferrata and Monte Porzio Catone and partly of the municipalities of Rome and Montecompatri.
Since 1968, Fontodi has belonged to the Manetti family, dedicated for centuries to another typically Chianti activity: the production of the famous terracottas. Precisely in the name of this strong link with the territory and with great passion for quality, the company has successfully directed itself towards an ever more careful cultivation of the vineyards and a more in-depth knowledge of the potential of Sangiovese in the Panzano area.
The vinification and aging processes in wood take place in the modern cellar arranged on descending levels so as to operate by gravity with an approach as respectful as possible of the natural integrity of the grapes.
From grapes to wine, this is the prodigious journey through the leaf that welcomes light and transforms it, the shoots that transmit perceptions and flavors, the land that jealously guards in its terraces the water and minerals, which nurtures and nourishes, the sun that never stops shining and gives the lucky plots of the Fornaser winery the laborious miracle of a family heritage built step by step, never lost.
Fratelli Berlucchi is one of the oldest and best preserved wineries in Franciacorta. Restored in the seventies, among its authentic faces of the '300 have been brought to light frescoes from various eras, the oldest dating back to the' 500. In the original part you can see some scenes of agricultural work, flowers and ribbons of a wedding party, knightly coats of arms.
The Fratelli Berlucchi vineyards are all between Borgonato and Cortefranca, in the province of Brescia. The names are the same attributed by the family in the 19th century, such as “Fontanella”, “La Palazzina”, Tre Camini ”,“ Casa delle Colonne ”. 70 hectares treated according to the most current winemaking techniques, in eco-environmental cultivation according to a proposal of the European Community for the respect of the environment, with flowering rose bushes at the head.
The Fratelli Brunello distillery, founded in 1840, is the oldest artisan distillery in Italy.
It all started with a woman, Maria Marzari, one of the first female entrepreneurs in the world of grappa.
Моntegalda, 1840. This is where the history of the oldest artisan distillery in Italy begins.
The progenitor of the dynasty is Bortolo Lotto (1824-1907), a beloved and respected figure in the town of Montegalda.
On the ground floor of the Palazzone - still today the seat of the Brunello distillery - it has a “bruso” (boiler) for the production of brandy, an oil mill and a mill for sulfur.
Today the Brunello Brothers need to give a signal of innovation for an artisan distillery that has been its strong point for over 180 years of its centuries-old history.
In recent years, marked by changes in tastes, consumption and in the way of drinking, it has become necessary to review not only the image of Grappa Brunello but also the product lines and give them a precise connotation in an increasingly complex market .
Frescobaldi embodies the essence of Tuscany, its extraordinary vocation for viticulture and the diversity of its territories. The uniqueness of Frescobaldi arises precisely from the representation of this diversity from its estates and from wines that express a kaleidoscope of aromas and sensations.
Behind every Frescobaldi wine you can feel the strong heart of the people, agronomists and oenologists who live the vineyard and the terroir to grasp every detail. Their art requires the strict rule of respect. Respect for our tradition, which also guides us when we choose innovative solutions. Respect for Tuscany, which we consider a living land, to be cultivated in balance and harmony. Respect for each single terroir, which thanks to a unique combination of soils, altitudes and microclimates, gives us wines with their own and unrepeatable personality.
The company was founded in 2004 with the purchase of a small vineyard in the countryside of Manduria of 1.30 ha. Today the company owns about 14.5 ha of company surface. Right from the start, the company mission was to produce wines from 50 to 90 year old vines, grown in Apulian sapling, with great personality and a strong territorial identity.
A few animals, small plots of land and a vineyard make up the new family business. The dream begins to take shape and in the 80s the first bottles of Gigante wines come out. Until then, in fact, the wine was sold to a tavern in the village as house wine. It is Ferruccio's young nephew, Adriano Gigante who, moved by the enthusiasm of his twenty years, decides to be daring with the first bottlings.
The label on the bottles bore the name of the Gigante family, accompanied by the image of the peacock, then as now the undisputed king of the courtyard.
Since the end of the 90s Adriano has been joined by his wife Giuliana in the management and, after completing his studies, his cousin Ariedo Gigante, still the company's oenologist, brought his skills into the family business.
A passion for wine that was born over time and that step by step gained strength, has increasingly tightened ties and transformed Ferruccio's dream into a reality, established nationally and internationally, of quality local wines.
Gilfenstein was created with the aim of selecting the best of the South Tyrolean winemaking and culinary tradition directly on the territory. It is a project that has had many years of research and professional meetings, developing important partnerships.
Gilfenstein has signed a pact that has only one direction: the absolute quality of what it makes and the search for a unique product that represents the exact expression of the production area.
From passion and tradition, the gjulia craft beer is born in friuli venezia giulia. The beers are top-fermented and are processed with an artisanal method, without the use of filtration and pasteurization.
After the first fermentation and slow maturation, which takes place in steel barrels at a strictly controlled temperature, the beer is bottled.
The second fermentation takes place in the bottle for the second fermentation, which is why a very small residue of yeast is always visible on the bottom of the bottles.

Located in the municipality of Magliano in Toscana (GR), the Grillesino was born in 1999 from the desire of Giancarlo and Saverio Notari to produce a wine being able to manage every production phase. With vineyards mostly belonging to the Morellino di Scansano DOCG area, the company now reaches an extension of 42 hectares all planted with spurred cordon with a planting density of 6000 plants per hectare. From 2000 to 2002 the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties were planted for a total of 18 ha, which at the Grillesino are expressed with great complexity and richness of aromas.
The planted clones were selected with the collaboration of the University of Agriculture of Florence and the Institut d'Oenologie de Bordeaux; collaboration which also led to the identification of the Cabernet-Margaux clone, used for our Ceccante.
In 2004 the extension and restructuring works of the winery were completed and in the same year 17 hectares were acquired for the production of Vermentino. The property is completed by two small vineyards planted with Pinot Blanc and Viognier.
The wines are vinified with modern technologies and undergo very light filtration treatments so that typicality is one of their major characteristics.

The il poggione estate is located in Sant'Angelo in Colle, about 10 km south of Montalcino. was founded in the late 1800s and was among the first to market the Brunello di Montalcino. It covers about 530 hectares, of which 140 are vineyards and 50 are olive groves.

It is spread over 200 hectares of which about 70 are destined for vineyards.
Our wine is born in friendship. Jako Wine originates from the encounter between an oenologist of rare wisdom and an expert, tireless ambassador of wine. Passion, love, courage: these are the seeds to give life to a great family of wines. The Jako Wine project was born in 2015, from the production of a classic method sparkling wine, initially shared exclusively for friends: a few bottles tasted in company during meetings and celebrations. At that time we did not yet have the plan to sell such a precious product close to our heart. But we were already proud of all the aromas and nuances that we were able to enclose in each glass. Strengthened by our convictions and constant appreciation by users, we have decided to finally share our excellent wine. Here is the decision to sell it by opening up to the market. Without forgetting the starting point: making wines for friends and for anyone who knows how to appreciate our philosophy.
The history of Cantina Kaltern goes back a long time. It took more than a century for our winery to become what it is and what it represents now: professionalism, passion, sense of belonging, experience and the highest quality standards.
Today, Cantina Kaltern is one of the most important wineries in South Tyrol, and the wine-growing municipality of Caldaro, the best known and most loved in South Tyrol, is proud of its fame. But Caldaro is not a special place only for wine lovers and connoisseurs. Wine is the great protagonist of the life of the community: it has forged it over the years, it has given and gives work, it fills the inhabitants and farmers with pride and is for many a full-time professional commitment, pursued with great passion by many. different areas, whether in the vineyards, in the cellar, in the gastronomy or in the trade.
In Caldaro, wine is synonymous with taste and quality. What makes our small wine-growing community with its large natural and bathing lake and its wines truly unique is the community that surrounds it. Spreading the spirit, the euphoria, the common commitment, the wine and, of course, the natural beauties all over the world. Cantina Kaltern plays an important role in this sense that perfectly reflects the company philosophy: union of intentions and constant search for quality.
A historic winery immersed in the South Tyrolean vineyards, witness and messenger of the knowledge of the time. A pioneering company looking for new scenarios to explore.
Tradition as a value to be handed down, progress as a vision to be perpetrated.
And a single goal to pursue: wine. Fragrant, elegant, territorial.
In each grape, the history of this land. In every drop the know-how of its people. In each bubble, a way of being.
Natural techniques are not limited to the vineyard but are also applied in the cellar, where they are inspired by traditional oenological practices.
Thanks to the maceration carried out in contact with the skins in truncated cone vats, for more or less long periods depending on the type of grape, the musts begin fermentation with the action of indigenous yeasts, and then continue with the refinement for two years in wood, in old large barrels, barriques or tonneaux.
A very low sulfitation, the carrying out of decanting only in cases of necessity and the non-control of the temperature, pursue the logic of minimal intervention. The wines aged for one or more years in large and small barrels, then pass in steel, where they remain for a year, in order to deposit the funds, and finally, without any filtration, in the bottle, where they spend the last year before market release.
For 4 generations our keyword has been Natural Balance which translates into the constant and continuous search for sustainable agriculture from an environmental, economic and social point of view.
Natural Balance is a closed circle from the vineyard to the bottle and the result are wines with a reduced sulphite content produced in the La Tordera winery, certified by CasaClima Wine.

Founded in the early eighties, Le Macchiole is one of the historic realities of Bolgheri, which over time has become the absolute reference for quality Tuscan wine. The project is realized thanks to Eugenio Campolmi and Cinzia Merli, among the pioneers of the area, through the original vision of a suitable territory still at the dawn of its stylistic definition. It was precisely their action, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, with the creation of wines that have become symbols for their caliber and personality, that contributed to the fame of Bolgheri.
Today it is Cinzia who leads the company, with the decisive contribution of her sons Elia and Mattia, now protagonists of the company, as well as an increasingly cohesive and close-knit team of collaborators. An extended family that never ceases to innovate, surprising and surprising itself, in the wake of history. Changing to remain itself, Le Macchiole shows a constantly evolving physiognomy thanks to a contemporary reading of the wine and its terroir.
The convinced choice of organic farming and an increasingly sustainable approach, the ever more precise definition of a style that favors finesse and elegance, as well as authenticity and personality, sculpt the face of a historic but not static winery, an aware protagonist of its time.

Today, when you visit the Limestone Branch Distillery, you can't help but sense the story that helped shape it.
Pinot grigio is the “symbol” wine of Lo Triolet. The first planting of this vine was carried out in 1988, with the aim of replanting the old family vineyards by planting an early variety that would ensure optimal ripeness even at 800-900 meters above sea level in the Municipality of Introd.
The choice of the pinot grigio was decisive for the development of the company, because from the very first year it aroused great interest from lovers of "good wine". Since then, Lo Triolet has grown and today offers a wide range of labels including white wines, red wines and sweet wines.
Lona Ester is a family-run farm that has been working the rugged slopes of the Cembra Valley since 1860, where over seven hundred kilometers of dry stone walls now support about three hundred hectares of vineyards. At the forefront of environmental protection, we have been operating sustainable viticulture for years. Our choices are inspired by obtaining the best quality grapes without stressing the plant or the soil, together with the defense of the environment, using neither herbicides nor chemical fertilizers.
We produce all the beers of our three lines, both low and high fermentation, with a manual system with two 12hl double-cooked vats. In this way we can personally control every phase of the production process and give a personal cut to each of our beers. Each step is followed directly by our brewers in a complex alchemy between the beer theory applied in the conception of the recipes and the manual work that is carried out daily in the brewhouse.
Our 130hl cellar allows us to produce more than 1000hl per year. Our fermenters, of different sizes and characteristics, have been chosen to enhance the individual beer styles and allow us to adopt different production techniques based on the type of beer to be produced each time.
Our beers, packaged manually, are all refermented in kegs or bottles at the end of a maturation period that varies from three to six weeks. Once the refermentation is complete, the beers are ready to be labeled and stored in a cold room at 4 degrees.
Malibran has obtained the “Biodiversity Friend” quality certification, which expresses the quantity of animals and plants living in a given territory.

It is from the cold land of Siberia that this amazing Mamont vodka comes to us, which is already characterized by its bottle, which recalls a mammoth tusk. The personality is already expressed in all its essence, yet it is still capable of surprising when it is tasted. The waters used to produce it are 100% Siberian and glacial, and this can give an intense, decisive and unparalleled character.
Mantovani Antiche Distillerie
The ancient Mantovani Distilleries were born at the beginning of the nineteenth century in Mirabello di Ferrara, thanks to the intuition and courage of Cesare, founder of the family. Self-taught, Cesare decided to found a company, where the pleasure of “homemade” things was transformed into an artisanal product.
Curiosity drove him to travel and learn about lands and companies that could supply him with high quality raw materials.
From the beginning the distillery created innovative products both in type and in presentation.
These particular bottles can still be found today in the business museum inside the distillery.
The grapes that grow clinging to the rock of Furore are exposed to the magical action of the sun and the sea of the Amalfi Coast. 10 symphonies from our grapes, each with a different character and style, but all able to tell a single story
Land and passion, curiosity and satisfaction. The Agno Valley is at the center of an area of great viticultural potential, intact and protected land north of the Small Dolomites. The volcanic origin gives minerality and great expressiveness to the wines, the soils of calcareous origin give richness and complexity. We follow our vineyards with modesty and a desire to understand in order to appreciate the riches and differences that each appreciation gives.
The cellar is the project of a great architect. A core of reinforced concrete covered like a glaze of majestic white limestone boulders: the same stone of the mountain where the vines grow.
In our cellars where cold technologies are expressed at the highest levels, the grapes retain aromas and harmonies that are truly unobtainable.
The barrel cellar, the rooms for the conservation of the reserve are located directly in the farm, with constant humidity and temperature all year round.
Maturation takes place in new 225 liter wooden barrels of French oak obtained in the forests of Allier, Vosges and Never.
The Mastroberardino family has lived in the socio-cultural context of wine for over two centuries, based on the most reliable historical reconstructions.
The first traces of its presence in Irpinia date back to the Bourbon land registry, in the mid-eighteenth century, when the family chose the village of Atripalda as its headquarters, where the ancient cellars are still located, and from there originated a lineage that linked indissolubly their fate to the cult of wine.
Ten generations, since then, have led the family business, amidst ups and downs, as always happens in the stories of family businesses of more ancient origin.
Cantina Merano is deeply rooted in the land of Trentino. Tradition, landscape and viticulture have always been closely linked to the Merano area. The first stone for the foundation of the winery was laid in 1901 with very few winemakers. Today, after more than a century and the merger of Cantina Burggräfler and Cantina Vini Merano in 2010, the wine cooperative has over 360 members. It is only with their support that the works for the renovation and expansion of our cellar have been successfully carried out.
The quality in the vineyard, the quality of the work and the quality in the glass of wine have the highest priority. The origin and provenance of the grapes must always be recognizable. The wine must remain faithful to its "roots" as a synonym of transparency, character and authenticity. Each of our bottles thus becomes a truly special experience.
In the genealogical memory of the family we can date the beginning of agricultural history with Agostino Merotto, an ancestor who was already known in the area for the quality of his Prosecco at the beginning of the 20th century. Crossing and overcoming the period of the two great wars of the last century, naturally poor in oenological references, we arrive at the years of the rebirth and rediscovery of crops and peasant commitment towards the suitable areas of the different territories.
1972 therefore marks the beginning of the entrepreneurial history of Graziano Merotto who immediately demonstrates a vocation and a precise attitude towards the world of sparkling wines, concentrating sacrifices and experiments in search of a level of excellence that was recognizable and able to leave a qualitative trace destined to remain in the history of the area to which it belongs.
This path, almost fifty years long now, has been completed according to a reasoned progression, in a balanced balance between the advent of technologies and the work of the land practiced in a sustainable way in order to preserve its integrity and value. An articulated road requires good travel companions and the team of human resources involved in the production chain, from the countryside to the Collaborators who work in the most distant countries of the globe, represents, according to the philosophy of Graziano Merotto, the true corporate heritage, without which nothing would be possible and the transformation of grapes into wine would remain an end in itself.
Mister Bio Wine
Mr. Bio is the promoter of a natural interpretation of the terroir, of attention to the grapes, from their growth to processing in the cellar. In Mr. Bio's wines there is all the natural essence of the territory.
Moncaro has always been characterized by its strong roots in the territory of the Marche Region and its environment. The company has three production sites and its vineyards in the most important wine-growing areas of the region. The Cellar of Montecarotto in the classic area of the Castles of Jesi. The Cantina del Conero in Camerano, on the slopes of Monte Conero and the Cantina di Acquaviva in the south of the Marche in the upper Piceno area.
The Monsupello farm is in the Oltrepo 'Pavese with 50 hectares of owned vineyards. It produces structured and harmonious wines that can give the consumer emotions. The vines grown are: Pinot Nero, Croatina, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Riesling Renano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Moscato. Nebbiolo and Muller Thurgau have recently been planted.
The Montalbera farm was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century in an area between the municipalities of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. In the mid-eighties, the Morando family adopted an expansion policy that was not yet completed, with the acquisition of neighboring land and the direct planting of new vineyards, mainly in Ruchè. Today the company is surrounded by its own vineyards arranged in a circular form in a single body in an entirely hilly position, with different exposures and soils ranging from clayey to limestone. One of the peculiarities that has always distinguished Montalbera in the Piedmontese landscape is that of being a reality straddling the two great wine areas of Piedmont: Monferrato and Langhe.
Monte del Frà
The Monte del Frà winery is located in Custoza, on the morainic hills of Lake Garda, just 15 km from the center of Verona. Monte Rossa Historic winery of Franciacorta. Monte Rossa governs 70 hectares of vineyards. The various positions of the crus on different terrains and exposures contribute to broaden the aromatic heritage of the grapes, so as to compose cuvées rich in structure and complexity. a friendship of the mid-80s between a group of wine lovers with the desire to experiment. It was 1983 and among them were Silvia Imparato and Riccardo Cotarella. 6 years after the first bottles of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Aglianico, the first vintage of a wine that will have the same name as the castle: Montevetrano.
An extraordinary success, which continues today. After 20 years, to celebrate the first vintage of Montevetrano, Core is born, a new 100% Aglianico red wine which in 2015 is joined by Core Bianco, a blend of Fiano and Greco.
Today Montevetrano is an estate of 26 hectares, of which about 5 are vineyards, in the Regional Park of the Picentini Mountains, in Southern Italy. The vineyards are in San Cipriano Picentino, in an ancient property of the Bourbons 100 meters above sea level, on the crest of a hill among oaks, chestnuts, hazelnuts, citrus and olive trees, in the shade of an ancient medieval castle.
The borders are marked by bushes of blackberries and ancient roses that lead to the rows in the space of the "vineyard of the horse", at the height of the manor house of the end of the 1700s.
Montonale was born from an ancient family farming tradition that blossomed on the hills of Desenzano del Garda. Here, in the early twentieth century, Francesco Girelli plowed two hectares of land in the Conta area. Roberto Girelli, with his brothers Claudio and Valentino, has breathed the scents of the cellar since he was a child. In 2002, just twenty years old, his first harvest follows. The following year he presented 800 bottles with the Girelli brand, sold to family friends and enrolled in the Faculty of Viticulture and Oenology in Verona. The first Lugana comes with the 2004 harvest, in 2005 the family plants another five hectares of vineyards in Turbiana and other red grape varieties.
Located in Adro among the splendid hills of Franciacorta, in a 15th century farmhouse, Monzio Compagnoni Azienda Agricola is today considered one of the most dynamic wineries operating in the Franciacorta and Bergamasco wine sector. From our vines we obtain Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero and Moscato di Scanzo grapes, with which we produce wines from Franciacorta and Bergamo. The winemaker Marcello Monzio Compagnoni has been carrying out this great winemaking reality for thirty years now through study, experience and passion and thanks to the modern and pragmatic mentality and the productive soul he has been able to carve out an important space in the world of wine.
The third generation of the family, Carlo, Francesca, Ignazio and Matteo, continues to perpetuate the profound peasant identity of the Mosers by combining modernity and innovation with winemaking experience and tradition. The wines with the classic Trentino method produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes from vineyards that reach an altitude of 650 meters above sea level between the hills of Trento and the Cembra Valley. Elaborated and refined entirely in our cellar following the TRENTODOC specification.
In the name of tradition, but always attentive to innovation, since 1895 the winery of the Mucci family has worked with passion to obtain wines of excellent quality perfectly harmonized with the environment from which they derive, Abruzzo.
The Mucci company is equipped with a high-tech winemaking and bottling plant, managing to combine product quality with efficiency.
The first distillery in Italy. Let yourself be surprised by the bicentennial history of a family whose name, through centuries and generations, has become synonymous with a product, an icon of an entire nation.
Son of Bortolo Nardini and Maria Maddalena Giacomuzzi, Bortolo Nardini was born on 25 May 1739 in Segonzano (Tn) in the Cembra Valley. In the country with an ancient winemaking tradition, it was a widespread practice to distil the pomace to obtain a source of income and sustenance. At the time the distillers moved from house to house, with a mobile still, to distil the pomace deriving from the production of wine "for third parties" and Bortolo Nardini, having undertaken this "job", went as far as Bassano del Grappa.
Pushed as far as Bassano del Grappa, Bortolo Nardini was the victim of an accident that forced him to stop in the city. During his convalescence, he had the opportunity to get to know Bassano better and to understand its strategic importance as a commercial crossroads between Valsugana and Venice. With a precise vision and the tenacious will to turn it into reality, he bought the Osteria al Ponte, today “Grapperia Nardini”, to produce grappa with a still on a permanent plant and resell it.
For the first time it was no longer the distiller, with his mobile still, who went to the farmers to distill but the farmers themselves gave him the pomace for the production of grappa. Bortolo calls his grappa "Aquavite di marc", in the Latin way without the "c", playing on the etymology that sometimes wants it to be "aqua of life" other "aqua of the vine". The first grappa of Italy is born, Grappa Nardini.
The new generation of Nardini: Bortolo, Orazio, Mario, brings an important innovation: the reserve grappa, “Aged in oak barrels like cognac”. Grappa Nardini Riserva is born.
Five generations, a single territory. Tenuta Natalina Grandi tells the story of the passion carried on from father to son. The production takes place entirely in the ten hectares of land owned, divided between Gambellara and Lonigo, between hills and plains. The totally pure grapes are processed with an organic supply chain, which results in a natural, fine flavor that recalls the origins of the earth.
The vines of Tenuta Natalina Grandi have their roots in a soil of volcanic origin, this gives the wines a recognizable flavor starting from their interpretation in dry wines up to the sweet type.
In the hills, in Monte di Mezzo, grape yields are lower, this allows the production of more structured wines such as Recioto and Gambellara Classico.
In the plain, on the other hand, called the locality of Giaroni, wines with greater freshness are produced, such as Prosecco, Solo Lei and Ricordo.
Since 2016 Tenuta Natalina Grandi has chosen to follow the guidelines to obtain organic certification to regularize and highlight a conduct that the company has already chosen for years. In cultivation no pesticides are used, herbicides treatments are limited to a minimum, while the mulching and fertilization of the soil takes place with green manure, the mixture of herbs and flowers that becomes fertilizer.
The company's sustainability is also expressed during the harvest, which still takes place manually.
The grapes, harvested in a natural way, transfer an ancient flavor to the wine, leaving narrative aromas between the lips.
Our estate has a terrain, a climate, a distance from the sea that belong to this place and only this. There is a fragile but overbearing nature of the place that asks to be heard. And precisely because we feel we are farmers we have learned to respect the land.
And we work with all the attention that organic requires of us, leaving the spontaneous herbs that grow between the rows to oxygenate and enrich the earth.
Nikka Whiskey is a Japanese whiskey and alcoholic beverage company, headquartered in Tokyo. Nikka is one of the best Whiskey producing distilleries not only in Japan, but all over the world.
The position, the soil and the climate create the natural conditions for obtaining the best grapes and wines with a strong typicality. But only the skill and passion of the cellarman for his products give a soul to the wine. While remaining deeply rooted in tradition, the techniques and design are at the forefront. For discerning connoisseurs the Niklaserhof is the ideal place to learn how a small family business cultivates its vines and transforms grapes into fine wines.

Nittardi is a winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico, on the hills on the border between the provinces of Florence and Siena. The Tenuta di Nittardi was originally a defense tower known since the sixteenth century with the name of "Nectar Dei". In the 16th century it was owned by the famous Renaissance artist Michelangelo Buonarroti who in 1549, while he was in Rome to paint the Sistine Chapel, asked his nephew Lionardo to send bottles of Nittardi wine to Rome to offer to Pope Julius II as a "genuine gift ”Claiming himself to prefer“ two barrels of wine rather than eight shirts ”.
Noelia Ricci is a project born in 2010 within the Pandolfa Estate, an estate rich in history that extends for 140 hectares in Predappio, at the foot of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Appenino. The name Pandolfa seems to derive directly from Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, known as the “Lupo di Rimini”, who would have stationed in these places for a long time before setting out to sack the Castle of Fiumana in 1436.
From 1626 to 1941 the owners of the estate were the Marquis Albicini.
In 1941 the property passed to Commendator Giuseppe Ricci, an entrepreneur from Forlì. In the years of the Second World War, the history of Pandolfa changed its sign.
From a pleasant place for the holidays of the marquises, it found itself at the center of the tragic events of the war. It was occupied by the Germans and then attacked by Polish troops, while many displaced people found refuge in its cellars. Once peace returned, in the 1950s, Giuseppe Ricci began the renovation of the estate, involving well-known local artists, who here created works of art up to the legacy of these places.
Ricci also began to rethink agricultural production, which had been of great importance during the Albicini period, bought two adjacent farms and planted Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Albana vines.
Orto di Venezia
S. Erasmo, an island in the Venetian lagoon, has for centuries supplied fresh vegetables and vegetables to the city of Venice. In the vegetable gardens of the island are produced the "castraure" and the violet artichoke of S. Erasmo, famous throughout Italy.
Already in the 16th century there were many vineyards on the island that were neglected in the following centuries.
Michel Thoulouze together with his family decided to relaunch the cultivation of vines and the production of wine on the island, using the traditional methods of local farmers and the technical expertise of Lydia and Claude Bourguignon, agricultural engineers, and Alain Graillot Crozes Ermitage, producer wine producer whose wines are famous all over the world.
Michel Thoulouze's company today produces a wine called "ORTO" which collects all the best characteristics linked to this special territory and is the only one that is produced within the confines of the Venice lagoon.
Passion, research, dedication and respect for traditions: these are the main values that the Paladin family has always pursued with the 1962 foundation of the company by Valentino, following in the footsteps and traditions handed down from their grandfather. Carlo, Lucia and Roberto subsequently brought new stimuli and energies with the aim of producing wines of excellence and of great territorial typicality, always respecting the family traditions.
Numerous awards have been awarded to the Paternoster winery over the years, both in Italy and abroad, giving it great merits for spreading Aglianico, as well as a point of reference for the entire Vulture area.
Despite the consensus of the market and image, the spirit and philosophy of the company remain unchanged, closely linked to the territory and in particular to Barile, a center of strong and ancient wine-growing vocations, as evidenced by the Cantine area, an evocative site consisting of over a hundred of secular cellars dug into the tuff that represent the symbol of the Barilese winemaking art.
Cantine Patrì has solid roots, a tenacious history that was born in the territory of Butera since 1936 when Rocco Paterna gave life to the farm, it was then the son-in-law Giuseppe Patrì who took the reins with foresight and resolve.
And with the same determination, years later, his son Rocco, his wife Patrizia and their children Giuseppe, Elisa and Daniela, decided to enhance the extraordinary viticultural heritage of Butera, allocating one third of the two hundred and fifty hectares owned to the production of wines.
Today the company is the pride and ambassador in the world with its labels, of the expressive vivacity of the DOC Riesi, the DOC Sicilia and the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG.
The reason that prompted the Patrì family to make wine is to be found in the vocation of the lands and grapes which, combined with the skilful hand of man, is today able to arouse suggestions that only Sicily can offer, and interpret the needs of consumers oriented towards quality red and white wines, elegant, well structured and Mediterranean.
The Bara family comes from the villages of Bisseuil, Oiry and Chouilly and its origins date back to the 1600s. In 1833, Auguste François Bara, a robust and enthusiastic young man, arrived in Bouzy to begin his career as a cooper. Three years later, in 1836, he married Annonciade Robert, already owner of vineyards.
In 1975 the Maison Bara was one of the first to cross the Atlantic to export its wines to the United States. Even today the Maison exports to the United States and always with the same importer. Paul Bara Champagne cuvées are also present on five continents. In 1980 Chantale joined her father to assist him and immediately became a partner in 1986. Sixth generation of winemakers, Chantale is committed to handing down the traditional and artisanal values that have been passed down to her from past generations.
A historic brand of Trentino winemaking. In 1928 the company changed hands to his son Italo, who, driven by a great passion in expressing the potential of the Trentino area, continued the tradition by pursuing a constant search for quality in the production of wine.
The same search for quality and improvement is handed down to the third generation with their son Paolo, who after completing his studies in oenology is completely dedicated to wine production first and then to sparkling wines.
Today two sisters, Donatella and Chiara, follow with passion and determination the evolution of the family business focused on the production of Trentodoc classic method sparkling wines as the best expression of the territory highly suited to sparkling wine production.
Cantina Pegoraro is a winery in the Berici Hills, in the heart of Veneto. The local varieties, such as red Tai and Garganega, unique and of great potential allow us to offer wines both of elegant simplicity and immediacy and of character and strong personality.
The spirit of continuous research, in the vineyard and then in the cellar, passion, commitment and innovative dynamism are our constants that join the pride of having now reached the third generation of vine growers.
However, the philosophy has not changed: only native varieties typical of our lands and in particular Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto which cover 85% of our production.
All the grapes we use come from 42 hectares of land owned and we are able, with the help of skilled collaborators, to directly follow all the processing stages, from pruning to marketing.

Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët shared a love of nature and the arts. She was a cultured young woman from a Norman merchant family; he is a skilled winemaker and botanist. A year after their marriage, in 1811 they founded the Maison Perrier-Jouët: born from the desire to create a different Champagne Maison.
The founders' passion for art, nature and champagne has been passed down from generation to generation. His son Charles Perrier, a botanist like his father, took over the Maison in 1848. The family philosophy of creative freedom and an unconventional observation of nature is intrinsic to the history of champagne. These values still shape the Maison Perrier-Jouët today.
Philippe Gilbert 1er Cru champagne is born between the villages of Hautvillers and Dizy, in the heart of the champagne south of the Reims mountain. Philippe Gilbert had to and is a “Sans Souci” champagne.
An exact correspondence between terroir-grape-glass, little liquer, little dosage, lightness, balance, persistence, I define it as a pacifier of the tensions of life.
Today the Pialli winery has in the hills of the Berici area just over 3 hectares of vineyards cultivated strictly organically tending to biodynamic.
The company's production philosophy is based on respect for the typical variety and on a careful and targeted viticulture in respect of the environment. The grapes ripen after repeated thinning in order to produce a wine of exceptional structure and aromatic concentration that is well suited to aging.
Pian delle Vigne
The Pian delle Vigne estate, located 6 km south of Montalcino, above the Val d'Orcia, was acquired by Antinori in July 1995. It takes its name from a characteristic nineteenth-century railway station located within the estate, still in use.
The total area of the company is 184 hectares, of which 65 hectares are planted with vineyards, 2 hectares with olive groves and 117 hectares of wood.
The Azienda Agricola Picchioni Andrea is a ten-hectare patch of land located in the small Solinga Valley on a hilly slope that turns towards noon and on which deep veins of loose soil, even pebbly, climb prohibitive slopes. The endless days of summer irradiation dispense to the grapes all the energy needed for adequate ripening, contending with the vine every drop of rain.
The Piccoli Agricultural Company has a history of vines and vines that have been intertwined for more than fifty years in a courageous journey in search of continuous improvement.
The story of a family with solid and authentic values, cultivated and handed down with love, generation after generation.
The land and the vineyard have been part of Piccoli since the time of their grandmother, thanks to our parents Daniela and Tiziano, their dedication and their sacrifice it was possible to create an ambitious project. A family cellar, in which every element is studied in detail.
A new chapter opens with us, Veronica and Alice, two sisters who with love and passion wish to carry on this challenge, so different but at the same time so complementary.
Together we have learned what it means to play as a team, together we are family and added value.
Small typical family business that produces few bottles but of high quality. Champagne Grand Cru 100% à Louvois - Récoltant Manipolant.
Respecting the know-how inherited from the family, we prefer the use of traditional Coquard presses in order not to rush our grapes in this crucial phase; The gravity vats are used for the decanting of wines in order to avoid premature oxygenation to guarantee our wines a character and a certain genuineness.
Pio Cesare was born in 1881 and today with about 70 hectares of vineyards with vineyards located in different areas of Barolo del Barbaresco. The production varies between the "Classici" Nebbioli, the "Single-Vineyard". The Pio Cesare Winery is one of the few remaining in the historic center of the city of Alba.
Built at the end of the 18th century, it is crossed and bounded by the ancient Roman walls of Alba Pompeia, which form its foundations and are visible in every corner of it. It is located on 4 different floors, one of which is even below the level of the Tanaro river. The naturally constant temperatures and the right degree of humidity have been decisive for the style and quality of the wines over the years.
The production of PISONI TRENTODOC is treated as a precious family treasure.
The Pisoni, one of the first producers in Trentino and one of the founding members of the Trento Doc Institute, boast a long history in the art of Spumante Metodo Classico: an ancient tradition that has its roots in the early seventies, when there were only a few the Trentino companies that produced TRENTODOC.
For the Pisoni family, the distillation of grappa is an art. There are no schools that teach distilling; progress in this field is given by the combination of experience and experimentation. The modern distillery, renovated in 2003 and designed directly by the owners, is the result of a technological evolution led by four generations who have brought their contribution of innovation combined with the experience handed down. From the first small copper stills of the late nineteenth century, which were fueled with a wood fire, we arrived at the current steam-powered system, of which you can admire the bain-marie boilers dominated by the splendid columns, also rigorously made of copper . An important contribution to this evolution was made by Tullio Zadra (1905/1991) master coppersmith from Trentino, as well as father-in-law of Arrigo Pisoni, known for having introduced the bain-marie distillation method with plate rectification columns in Trentino. Some parts of the plant still bear the nameplate of its renowned workshop.
We knew we wanted excellent gin made with quality ingredients, but which ones?
After months of tastings, tastings and discussions, we all agreed on the choice of a test tube with the “PiùCinque” label which indicated the degree of intensity of the Italian botanicals in our recipe.
And so our name was born. We thought it was original until we found out that Chanel No.5 is called that for the same reason.
The central value of this family business is represented by the deep respect with which it wants to relate to the land, the people and the territory in which it operates. A territory in which and with which the Marini company has been measuring and evolving for the past 300 years!
The original nucleus was built for the cultivation of olive trees and the production of oil and still today, of the total area of about 300 hectares, 130 are olive-growing. Subsequently 35 hectares were destined for the production of Clementine di Calabria, a leading product of regional agriculture, protected by the Community IGP trademark.
In 2003 the Marini family enriched the offer again by focusing on quality viticulture. 7 hectares of vineyards were planted in hilly, clayey soils, at about 500 m asl, and the new cellar was built. With this activity, the Poderi Marini company returns to discover, interpreting it in a modern key, a tradition that has been present in this area since ancient times.
The assortment of vines includes the indigenous Aglianico and Magliocco and the international Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, for the reds, and Chardonnay and Sauvignon for the whites. The training system adopted in all the vineyards is the spurred cordon, the density of the vines is 5,200 vines / ha with productions never exceeding 60 q / ha.
The cellar is new and equipped with modern oenological systems. Finally, in the vineyard and in the cellar, the production method of organic farming is adopted. All choices that testify to the constant orientation of the Marines to cutting-edge technologies, to quality productions with deep respect for tradition and the environment. In the cellar the company avails itself of the over twenty-year expertise of the oenologist Gianfranco Cordero. Consistent with the production orientation of the company, the techniques adopted aim to ensure the lowest impact on the fruit from the harvest, strictly in boxes, to the pressing and in all subsequent stages of wine production.

Love for the land, experience and tradition in vine cultivation have increased the entrepreneurial enthusiasm of the Quacquarini family over the years. Alberto was the forefather of this company: it is he who, helped by his wife Francesca, has challenged the events of life and together have laid solid foundations for future generations.
Monica, Luca and Mauro: they are the ones who have picked up the baton and who currently manage the company, mutually assisting each other in a sort of natural symbiosis. The Alberto Quacquarini company is the largest producer of Vernaccia di Serrapetrona Docg with its 35 hectares of vineyards planted in Vernaccia Nera, used almost exclusively for the production of Vernaccia di Serrapetrona Docg.
Five like the Chiarli generations who have taken turns leading the family businesses since 1860; five like the people who have carried out this project of excellence; five, finally, as the fundamental stages of the path of quality and innovation that has always distinguished the Chiarli world in the wine scene of the territory.
The production area of the Rebuli winery is the historical one, limited to the 15 hill towns between the two productive capitals of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and extends over an area of about 20,000 hectares. The types produced are 3: sparkling, sparkling and still. The grapes: the wine is produced with a minimum of 85% of Glerae grapes, for a maximum of 15%, of Verdiso, Bianchetta, Perera, Glera Lunga, varieties present for centuries in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, or Pinot and Chardonnay.
Riecine is a rare example of what can be achieved with artisanal care and attention.
The oenologist and General Manager since 2015 is Alessandro Campatelli who directs the entire winemaking process with the precious help of the historic Riecine team. The harvested grapes are placed in small containers (bin) and then gently pressed as per tradition before passing through concrete, steel and wood.
Fermentation is carefully and personally supervised by Alessandro, so as to guarantee the right temperature and perfect extraction of tannins, color and aroma.
Once in the tanks, about 10-20% of the must is drained. This procedure is aimed at increasing the proportion of skins in the must and aimed at obtaining wines with a higher concentration.
All the wines are spontaneously fermented (without the addition of selected yeasts) which for this reason has a very slow start, but which adds character to the finished product and favors a cold maceration that lasts from three to four days.
The adventure of the Rigoloccio winery began in 2002 when two Maremma Doc friends bought 23 hectares at the foot of Monte Calvo and the village of Gavorrano.
Majestic sauces and centuries-old olive trees surround 9 hectares to be used as vineyards, and here, the choice is immediately audacious: planting Bordeaux vines, international in scope, but with all the Supertuscan temperament.
To take the project in hand are the agronomist Pierre Marie Guillaume and the oenologist Fabrizio Moltard, who perceives the potential of the territory by focusing on varieties from beyond the Alps.
The choice turns out to be a winning one, leading Rigoloccio to become one of the most representative companies of the Maremma Wines Consortium in a very short time.
In 2017 the winery underwent a radical revolution, with a change of ownership that gave way to a profound structural renewal that involves every single aspect, from the architectural one to that of the manufacturing processes and company organization.
In the shadow of the Soave castle, just behind the ancient walls, is Rocca Sveva, a medieval village transformed into a center of wine excellence. ROCCA SVEVA: AN EXPERIENCE TO LIVE With its suggestive cellars, the ancient villa, the luxuriant botanical park and the experimental vineyard, Rocca Sveva is a real tribute to the culture of wine: an extraordinary blend of history, tradition and quality. Here the Rocca Sveva wines and the classic method sparkling wines are born, a small, highly sought-after selection of wines from the Veronese tradition: sips of pure beauty. Rocca Sveva is also emotion, the one you feel when visiting the cellars, among huge oak barrels, long lines of barriques and pupitre where wines and sparkling wines rest for long years: it is a real underground town in miniature.
The utmost attention is paid to preserving the raw material obtained. Ours is a respectful and conservative enology of the bunch of grapes. Great attention is paid to cleanliness, to the different stages of processing, choice of woods, tasting of our wine; it is He who decides what we must do. The cellar is a place of passage where the grapes become wine, continuing that wonderful journey that intertwines our and their lives.
Centenario Internacional opens its doors. Several Scottish malts were initially bottled, which allowed us to begin aging our first 4 rums in American white oak barrels: Samba, PaloViejo, Ronrico and Platinum Rum.
In 1904, in the north of Peru, the Hacienda Agrícola de Chiclayo was founded in Chiclayo, a small settlement between the sea and the mountains known as the "city of friendship". Here, a group of farmers joined together to trade their own sugar, and to this end they built, with great personal sacrifice, a small refinery.
In 1922, the Peruvian landowner family Piera de Castillo, whose boss was Don Rolando, bought the hacienda, the refinery and the vast sugar cane plantation from the Gutiérrez family. While there was a lot of raw material, the technology was elementary. The lack of technical knowledge meant that sugar cane and all its potential could not be fully exploited. The workforce, coming from the local inhabitants around the hacienda, was also poorly trained.
In 1933 Don Rolando sent his eldest son Augusto to study chemical engineering at the University of Cambridge. In the summer of 1938 a ship destined for Peru left London, carrying the precious cylinder mill for sugar and a Scottish column still for distillation.
1950 was an unforgettable year for the young Augusto Piera de Castillo: Ron Millonario was officially born.
The rum was the fruit of hard work, but since few could afford to taste it, it acquired the name "por los millionarios", in recognition of that exclusive club of individuals wealthy enough to buy its spirit and enjoy its unique charm.
In search of new products, Fabio Rossi landed in Peru in 2004 and discovered a warm, rich and pleasant to drink product. He had stumbled upon a real treasure from Peru. The continuous trust of the Rossi brothers in the products has begun to bear fruit. Increasingly appreciated by experts from all over the world, Millonario can be counted among the best.
Ron Santiago de Cuba
For over 8 generations the Masters of Cuban Ron from the city of Santiago de Cuba have followed their tradition and experience rather than a recipe, creating a rum with rhythm and soul that dances in the glass, always dreaming of something better.
The Oriente region has been known as the Cradle of Rum Light since 1862 and Santiago de Cuba is the city where the tradition of Cuban Ron Ligero found its origins. Here, the scorching heat of the Caribbean sun, the humidity of the land and the sea intertwine perfectly to create the optimal conditions for growing sugar cane, enriching the aging process and giving depth to our unique liquid.
Rum is the soul of Cuba and what makes it unique can be broken down into three elements: the raw materials, the aging and blending method and the expertise of the Masters of Cuban Ron.
The history of the Ronca winery is not the traditional story of land handed down from father to son for generations, but it is still closely linked to what is needed to grow the vines: the earth. In 1946 the progenitor of the family, Ulderico Ronca, bequeathed a plot of land in the province of Verona to his wife and children. Ten years later, Walter and his brothers sell this plot to obtain the necessary funds to start with an industrial activity, which has developed solid and flourishing over time.
Ruffino is a multifaceted reality, linked to the production of quality Italian wines which in its mission incorporates the most important instances of contemporary agri-food culture.
A company with a history of over a hundred years, deeply linked to Tuscany in particular and to Italy in general, Ruffino is today the sum of an entrepreneurial experience with few equals, of a profound and varied agricultural and productive knowledge, and of a modern organization, stratified in functions indispensable for competition in a highly competitive sector and strongly linked to local areas.
The Ruggeri winery was founded in 1950 in Valdobbiadene, Treviso. The grapes of Prosecco Superiore DOCG are traditionally conferred by a hundred winegrowers. Almost all of them have vineyards in the municipality of Valdobbiadene and 25 also have Cartizze grapes. Worthy of note are the numerous high-quality vineyards in the historic hamlets of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol, which have always been recognized as the qualitative apex of the entire denomination.
Ruggeri owns a small Cartizze vineyard and 20 hectares in nearby Montello, 12 of which are planted with Pinot Grigio and Glera (traditionally called Prosecco). About one hectare is dedicated to Recantina, an ancient native red grape variety recovered after a long work with the Experimental Institute for Viticulture of Conegliano.
In 1990 I went to Scotland to visit distilleries, sample barrels and strike some business deals: during a few visits to whiskey broker warehouses, I started noticing several old barrels of British Guiana and Jamaican rums, stacked next to single malts. Coming from the British colonies, these rums were shipped to Scotland and England for aging (in a cooler and more humid climate which allowed for a more gradual ripening) and for blending into so-called Navy Rums.
In the green of the Tuscan hills, nestled in the crown of Chianti, is the Azienda Agricola San Leolino in the locality of Casariccio which produces with its 8 hectares of vineyards three red wines with different peculiar characteristics.
The flagship of the “Il cinque” IGT Toscana Rosso winery, harvested and squeezed by hand selecting the bunches, aged in oak barrels for 14 months and aged in the bottle for at least six months.
“Casariccio” Chianti Superiore: Chianti produced according to the ancient regulations of Count Ricasoli and the innovations made by the Chianti consortium.
“La Fonte” IGT Toscana Rosso Sangiovese in purity is created through a selective harvesting of the best Sangiovese grapes.
It also produces a fortified wine, the divine vin "Ugo", the vinsanto, in memory of the poet Ugo Foscolo and his love story with a gentle woman from the village of San Leolino.
Sandro de Bruno
At 600 meters above sea level, on the volcanic soils of Monte Calvarina, in the Lessini Durello and Soave DOC area, we have been producing wine with passion for three generations, with a view to synergy and harmony with nature, with the aim of interpreting and enhancing the native vines of this area, creating a product that preserves the tradition and identity of our territory.
The name Santa Barbara is a tribute to our land, our traditions and our cults. The history of these places has its roots in the sixth century, when Senigallia was a Byzantine city and a Lombard outpost (and therefore "barbarian") settled in a nearby village. Since then, that village took the name of Barbara where our winery stands today, which has the privilege of having its production site inside an ancient monastery.
The Cantina di Santadi is located in Sulcis, south-western Sardinia, The goal is ambitious, to focus on bottled wine, typical red wines in particular, to give visibility and identity to the main cultivar of the territory: the Carignano, without however neglecting the traditional white grape varieties of Sardinia, such as Vermentino, Nuragus and Nasco.
The Santi winery has been a protagonist in Valpolicella since 1843, the year in which it was founded in Illasi, a historic village at the eastern end of the province of Verona, nestled close to the Lessini Mountains. Here, in the shadow of a medieval castle, among the hills of the valley then called Longazeria, the production of the typical wines of the area is established, led by Carlo Santi, the founder. Right from the start, the Santi family chose to focus on quality and the strict selection of raw materials, using only the best grapes from the vineyards owned by the most suitable areas. The success of its wines induces the company to obtain supplies also from local suppliers, with whom a relationship of trust is consolidated over time which today allows direct management of the vineyards.
Santòn is the first agricultural vermouth of Friuli Venezia Giulia, produced in this “queen” land of wine according to the completely artisanal production chain of BorgosanDaniele. It is an ancient tradition to aromatize wine with herbs, spices and botanicals, a processing method which by its nature requires patience, dedication and great knowledge of raw materials. Santòn is an adventure that starts from tradition and that pushes towards the desire to experiment and celebrate the original products of our territory through a great all-Italian classic, such as vermouth.
Castiglione Tinella: in the heart of Moscato d'Asti. It is here that, since the early 1900s, the Saracco family has been producing this aromatic wine, and they do so by cultivating their own vineyards, a very important factor that identifies the link with an ideal territory for the cultivation of Moscato grapes.
Historic company, farmers since the seventeenth century, has dedicated a lot of effort to the cultivation of vineyards and has always produced selected and refined "Cirò wines" since 1949.
The culture of refinement has been handed down from father to son and currently Luigi Scala, a winegrower in the cellar of all time, continues the production of Cirò with great reference to family traditions. From the cultivation of the vine to the processing and aging of the wine, the Scala company carefully takes care of the phases of its product which aims not so much at the quantity, but above all at the excellent quality of a Calabrese wine that wants to stand out.
The continuity and philosophy of all time is also ensured by the entry into the company of Francesco Scala, currently in charge of commercial relations.
We are a small family-owned distillery founded in 1887 which has been run from father to son for five generations. By maintaining the family management over the years we have been able to raise our distribution and the quality of our products reaching high quality standards. Our grappa is now recognized as one of the best in Veneto, the region with the highest concentration of distilleries. Still using the ancient discontinuous system in copper stills, with low pressure steam, we are able to produce a very high quality niche grappa, bottled in elegant glasses that stand out for their refined image, suitable for restaurants and wine bars.
Serafini & Vidotto
Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto, oenologists and farmers, founded the farm in 1986 in Nervesa della Battaglia, under the ruins of the Abbey where, between 1551 and 1555, Monsignor della Casa wrote the Galateo, in the territories of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, which has always been devoted to the production of red wines.
The Sibona Distillery is located in the Roero area, in the Municipality of Piobesi d'Alba, a few kilometers from Alba. Born a hundred years ago in the same area as an old furnace, the distillery is located in the center of an important wine area where the vines of the most important Piedmontese wines are grown: the Nebbiolo vine (from which the Barolo, Barbaresco wines are obtained and Roero in their respective production areas), and the vines of Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Chardonnay, Arneis and Brachetto.
Sibona is one of the historic distilleries of Piedmont and has the old distillation license N ° 1 issued by the UTF
The SORELLE BRONCA winery produces only from its own vineyards, cared for with authentic passion, harvested by hand and only with crates, the Sorelle Bronca winery obtains wines that are symbolic of the territory but also of man's ability to get the best from nature. vineyards rise on high and steep hills where it is difficult even to stand without falling.Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG is characterized by an inimitable elegance, with a light straw color, moderate body and a fresh and characteristic fruity and floral scent. types Spumante, Sparkling and Still. Sparkling wine is the symbolic version of the appellation and by far the most successful. The Spumante is produced in the Brut, Extra Dry and Dry versions depending on the residual sugar present. From the driest, the Brut, to the most sweet, the Dry.
Our founder, third generation distiller Robert J. Cooper, launched St ‑ Germain, the first elderflower liqueur in 2007. Inspired by Paris and its iconic St ‑ Germain ‑ des ‑ Prés neighborhood, St ‑ Germain constitutes a precedent as a modern liqueur made for cocktails, and perfect for an aperitif. Its versatility makes it a great tool for the best bartenders in the world and a must in your home bar.
St. Michael - Eppan
The grape metamorphosis takes place in the cellar. A combination of ancient and innovative winemaking techniques. The "respect for the fruit" is the most important rule for the production of long-lived wines with great personality.
The grapes are rigorously vinified for peculiarities in order to enhance each single vineyard.
The wines are then aged in steel or wooden barrels to emphasize the individual characteristics.
Since the Eighties, the space of the white and red barriques has conquered the heart of the winery. In them the selections of the most precious and prized wines mature in small French oak barrels. This refinement requires great sensitivity and gives life to complex wines, which embody a perfect symbiosis between fruit and nuances that wood can enhance.
In the Cantina San Michele Appiano the traditional aging of wines in large wooden barrels still plays an important role today. For this reason, in recent years the historic cellar has been completely renovated with over 50 large oak barrels. The four ancient 150 hl barrels stand out immediately, graceful with ancient carvings, depicting historical events starting from 1907.
Steel is indispensable for modern winemaking. In fact, it represents the ideal material for both fermentation vats and storage tanks, guaranteeing hygiene and cleanliness.
The steel allows a clear transformation of musts and wines, and is able to enhance the freshness and aromas of the different varieties.
To give life to a dream you need the passion to pursue it and the entrepreneurial ability to make it come true. The Su'entu Winery was born from the dream of its founder, Salvatore Pilloni. The dream of enhancing the suggestive hilly terrain that every day attracted his attention and stimulated his imagination. Ancient lands, rich in history and traditions, ideal for growing grapes. Today that dream is called Su'entu and gives its name to all our wines.
Suavia is a story made up of a castle, no frogs, few princes and many princesses. The castle is that of Soave: heritage of the Middle Ages, when the town was still called with the ancient name of Suavia; the four daughters of Giovanni and Rosetta, on the other hand, have been the main female protagonists of this story since the beginning of the twenty-first century.
The Azienda Agricola Tamburino Sardo, founded in 1968 by Adriano Fasoli is now managed together with his two sons Stefano and Giuliano. It is located on the hills of Custoza, at the highest point, known as the Tamburino Sardo hill. The name derives from a page in the history of Italian Independence of 1848-1866 mentioned by De Amicis in his book “Cuore”. For 50 years the Fasoli family has been producing quality and local wines ranging from Custoza to Bardolino and thanks to a joint venture of love, also Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso and Amarone.
The founder of the company, Adriano has been working in the vineyard since he was a boy as was the custom in the past. He passed on his passion, his seriousness and above all his technical skills in the vineyard and in the cellar to his children and is still at their side in the management of this big-hearted company.
The best whiskey is not born by chance. Explore the incredible story of our precious spirit and find out why, after more than a century, we are still strong.
Over 100 years since the distillery opened, we are proud to still use the same barrels and methods of the Tamdhu founders. These traditions create a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey worthy of the name Tamdhu.
Tasca Conti d'Almerita
Tasca d'Almerita now cultivates almost 600 hectares of vineyards and enhances the fruit by distributing it in the four continents of the world. He takes care of the guests of two of the most beautiful resorts in Sicily with dedication and enhances each of the company's five estates.
The Tedeschi winery is located in the center of Pedemonte di Valpolicella. The fermentation room, recently renovated, has horizontal fermenters that allow perfect extraction from the skins thanks to an appropriate programming of the pumping over and movements of the solid mass.
The cellar also has vertical fermenters where it is possible to carry out fulling by means of a mechanical piston. All containers are thermally controlled. In the aging cellar there are Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity from 10 to 50 hectoliters.
In the heart of the Asolo hills, in Monfumo, our wines are born. The property is developed in different estates: the Biss vineyard, the Longon vineyard and the Era Grande vineyard, which thanks to their specificities offer different grapes for flavor and characteristics, which blend perfectly with each other and are able to give the wines of Tenuta Amadio scents and aromas that make them unique products of their kind.
Tenuta di Biserno
Tenuta Campo di Sasso has an extension of about 56 hectares and a lower altitude. The soils are sandier and the climate is warmer during the summer months. These conditions are ideal for the cultivation of Syrah and Vermentino as well as the other varieties of Bordeaux vines. The wines produced in this area are Insoglio del Cinghiale and Occhione.
Tenuta il Bosco
The origins of Tenuta Il Bosco in Zenevredo, in the Oltrepò Pavese, date back to the Middle Ages, when the Benedictine monks gave new life to the land, after a long abandonment, making the vine flourish again.
Viticulture in the Oltrepò Pavese is in fact very ancient and the first written documents date back to Pliny and Strabone who in 40 BC, passing with a Roman legion, wrote “good wine, hospitable people and very large wooden barrels”.
The cellar reflects and crowns the vision of the Estate. Ipogea, therefore absolutely integrated with the surrounding environment, and with low environmental impact, represents a sort of underground temple, dominated by two ancient stone farmhouses and a wonderful Mediterranean garden, the work of the garden designer Richard Shelbourne.
The altitude and southern exposure of our vineyards allow a slow and complete ripening of the bunches that give wines of great concentration and vigor. The cool and breezy nights help maintain the aromatic complexities of the grapes.
Tenuta Sallier de la Tour
Our history and that of “Muntagna” met in 2007, when the Tascante project - Pocket and Etna - was born, which is above all the exact synthesis of our idea of a vineyard on the highest volcano in Europe, Etna. A force of nature in its primordial state. Today with great pride I present to you the new born: the wines of the district. A research and study project of the territory that began with the first experimental vinification in 2004. An intense work that then took shape with the purchase of the first vineyards in 2007 in Contrada Sciaranuova and Pianodario, and subsequently in Contrada Rampante, in 2015. Knowing the character of a land, understanding its nuances, identifying its strengths and any more problematic aspects, is not an easy and immediate achievement. You can get an idea right away, but it takes time to understand the details. And the details make the difference. The Nerello Mascalese and the volcanic soils of Etna interact in an almost magical way, expressing the strength of the territory in a distinctive and unmistakable way.
Tenuta San Guido
Tenuta San Guido takes its name from San Guido della Gherardesca who lived in the 13th century. It is located on the Etruscan coast between Livorno and Grosseto, in the Maremma made famous by the verses of Giosuè Carducci and extends for 13 kilometers from the sea up behind the hills. It includes three excellences: Sassicaia, the Dormello Olgiata breed in thoroughbred horses and the Padule di Bolgheri Wildlife Refuge, the first in Italy.
Tenuta San Leonardo
More than a thousand years ago it was a monastery, for over three centuries it has been the residence of the Marquis Guerrieri Gonzaga who are passionate guardians. Today Tenuta San Leonardo is a garden of vines and roses protected by the imposing Trentino mountains that dampen the cold northern winds, while the valley floor welcomes and gives the warmth of Lake Garda.
The Estate is an ancient world where the patient cellar practices, still absolutely artisanal, give wines that are authentic jewels of Italian enology, distinguished by freshness, harmony and innate elegance.
Tenuta Tarcisio Maule
Our family has been cultivating vines for the past two centuries, handing down this passion from generation to generation. Tenuta Tarcisio Maule was born in 2019, a project that aims to pay tribute to the work of our predecessors and give value to the wonderful land of Selva di Montebello.
Tenuta Tignanello is located between the Greve and Pesa valleys, in the heart of the Chianti Classico, between the small villages of Montefiridolfi and Santa Maria a Macerata, 30 km south of Florence. In these 127 hectares of vineyards, the Antinori family has more than anywhere else expressed its production philosophy: reconciling tradition and modernity by creating wines authentically linked to their land of origin.
Solaia and Tignanello, the two iconic wines of the estate, have been defined by the international press as "among the most influential wines in Italian wine history" and are a constant symbol for the Antinori family of an inexhaustible challenge, fueled by pure passion.
The heirs of tradition and the interpreters of new technologies collaborate in the company. There is passion, that of Antonio and Luigi Ulisse brothers and founders of the project, there is meticulousness and planning: in two words the Ulisse style. The production structure of the Tenuta Ulisse cellar is state-of-the-art: the vinification area is equipped with the latest generation technologies and the modern bottling line guarantees the utmost care in the packaging of the products.
Small tanks to keep the different types of product separate according to the characteristics of each individual vineyard (altitude, exposure, soil type, clone, training system, grape harvest period, etc.) to enhance the characteristics of the typical vines of our territory.
Perfectly healthy grapes must arrive in the cellar, organoleptically complete, harvested at the right degree of ripeness. Respecting its naturalness, enhancing its oenological value, enhancing the varietal peculiarities of each vine is for Tenuta Ulisse, from the very beginning, an iron rule on which Antonio and Luigi Ulisse, harvest after harvest, manage to form a new model of winemaking enterprise, rooted in the territory but with an eye to the most demanding and prepared markets.
Tenute Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari
Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari represent the exclusivity of Tuscany with its rich set of territory and traditions. Innovation, creativity, research and respect for diversity are the founding values of family history.
The Folonari estates contain the excellence of Tuscany, expression of the areas most suited to wine production: Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bolgheri and Montecucco in Maremma.
The wines of Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari Tenute reflect the founding values of the company philosophy: elegance, strong identity and strong bond to the territory whose diversity and values they deeply respect.
The Folonari family has always valued the territory and its most authentic traditions, giving new splendor to real estate structures dedicated to a type of luxury hospitality that allows you to savor the taste of living well in Tuscany: the Villa and Casavecchia di Nozzole located in the estate of the same name, Borgo del Cabreo located in Greve in Chianti and La Fuga in Montalcino.
Founded in 1893, Cantina di Terlano is one of the most avant-garde producer cooperatives in all of South Tyrol. Its 143 current members cultivate 165 hectares of vineyards, equal to a total annual production of 1.4 million bottles.
For years, together with our partners, we have taken the path of quality with commitment and perseverance, the same quality that has earned us fame and recognition on the Italian and international wine market. This is why, despite being relatively small, the Terlano winery is now an established institution in its sector.
The Terrazas winery at the foot of the Andes mountain range produces a Reserva Malbec that comes from the best vineyards over a thousand meters above the sea level. Reserva Malbec is a wine with a refined texture with velvety tannins and typical notes of violet, cherry, plum and chocolate.
Terrazze dell'Etna is nature, it is passion, it is Etna and what can be produced from these atypical and unique lands: it is the desire to create excellent wines in a place where it is possible. In 2008 the Bevilacqua family recovered, on the northern side of Etna, the old terraces of the Bocca d'Orzo district, located from 600 meters up to 950 meters, counting today 36 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, chestnut, cherry and oak woods .
Terre di Balbia
In the chest of the South, in the heart of the medieval village of Altomonte in the province of Cosenza, the ancient Balbia has risen again in glasses. The wines produced in these ancestral lands were also praised in the verses of Pliny the Elder enchanted by a nectar called "balbino" which evoked the divine in its name.
Ours is a small and large reality with a high level of innovation, whose mission is to re-evaluate the production of the Euganean Hills ; different grapes that are grown on different soils, which lead to the vinification of unique wines with an unmistakable volcanic character.
There are many differences but what unites our 54 local suppliers goes beyond any diversity: the vine is their DNA. Proud messengers of their own territory of their identity and culture, our winemakers strive every day to achieve the highest quality by carefully following the production dictates that our company sets, that is, the utmost respect for nature and the environment.
The Macallan was one of the first licensed distillers in Scotland. Since then our whiskey has been internationally recognized as one of the best single malts in the world. The creation of The Macallan is based on the fundamental contribution of Spain, North America and Scotland, and their respective natural raw materials, combined with traditional methods and quality craftsmanship.
Our vineyards extend over an area of 2,700 hectares, from the hills of the coast to the slopes of the mountains, in a typically Mediterranean climate, temperate, with significant temperature variations that determine optimal conditions for the accumulation of aromatic substances in the bunches, giving rise to high quality grapes. Our production is concentrated exclusively on the typical and indigenous vines of the area, traditionally cultivated in pergola, with a vocation for experimentation in the field and in the cellar.
Quality, innovation, research, professionalism and love for our work are our hallmark.
Torquadra products are distinguished by their difference in taste and aroma, presenting finesse and personality as the common denominator of excellent products, obtained with pomace from classic and native Trentino vines.
The complex process of distillation of the pomace follows the discontinuous "bain-marie" and steam method: the all-Trentino method which, thanks to the water vapor, allows to obtain a better regulation of the cooking temperature, and therefore to obtain a finer product. It is a type of distillation that favors quality.
If our grappa is so precious it is due to the use of high quality fresh pomace and to this type of
distillation which heats them slowly and evenly.
Our barricaded Grappas, the strong point of our production, are left to age for several years in small French oak, cherry or acacia barriques.
Thus in full harmony the grappa slowly extracts a natural color and a full and elegant character from the wood.
All the barricaded grappas have achieved important awards in international competitions
Cantina Tramin, the home of the Gewürztraminer , was born in 1898 from a small project with a few families started by Christian Schrott , parish priest of Termeno and deputy to the Austrian Parliament, to guarantee subsistence and a future for mountain winemakers. Thanks to the strength of this union , Cantina Tramin over time it has become one of the most successful cooperatives in the region and a recognized example in the world.
In 1971 Cantina Tramin merged with the historic Cantina Sociale di Egna, founded in 1893. A union that associates the heritage of traditions and vineyards in a single cooperative reality, including the prestigious lands in Mazzon and Glen dedicated to Pinot Noir. the arrival in the company of our oenologist Willi Stürz, in the 90s the inversion of the trend towards quality is consolidated and the project of the wines of the Selezione begins, which today includes Nussbaumer, Terminum, Unterebner, Stoan, Freisinger, Maglen , Urban and Loam: the maximum expression of our oenological savoir-faire and the result of a selection of our finest vineyards. From here on, all production will be oriented towards excellence. In 2010 the refurbishment of our headquarters was completed, a project curated by the architect Werner Tscholl, a structure-sculpture that becomes an icon and symbol of Termeno.
The latest addition to the Tramin house is Troy, an elegant high mountain Chardonnay, with which we are going to enrich this world-renowned variety with a unique alpine interpretation.
Today we produce an average of 1.9 million bottles per year, 70% destined for the national market, and the remaining 30% for the foreign market. Working together to create wines that are a harmonious expression of our environment is the guiding principle of Cantina Tramin.
The Travaglini Winery, located in the heart of the Gattinara hills, includes 59 hectares of wine-producing properties of which 44 are planted with vineyards.
The “Gattinara DOCG”, a wine of great structure and longevity, and the “Nebbiolo DOC Coste della Sesia”, a young, fruity, easy-to-drink wine are produced from the Nebbiolo grape. It is a family-run business in which the experience and passion for quality of Arturo Travaglini, who already produced Gattinara in 1958, was inherited by his son Giancarlo.
Today the daughter Cinzia with her husband Massimo (Winemaker) lead this prestigious company. In all these years, in the Travaglini house, the passion for work, the commitment to arrive at a qualitatively superior production and the desire to always obtain only the highest levels of results, are always the same.
GLI UBERTI, Winemakers since 1793 in the Salem area of Erbusco Franciacorta produces about 180,000 bottles divided between Franciacorta and Curtefranca doc wines. The vineyards are located in beautiful well exposed positions, with draining and stony lands. All the vineyards are organically grown to better respect people, the environment and the territory.
The personality of the wines and the intense taste of the oil have one thing in common: the faithful imprint of the land where they are born. Il Fiano, an ancient village near Certaldo, has been owned by the Bing family since 1940. These lands, unique in terms of exposure and geological origin, are naturally suited to high quality productions.
The lands are exposed to a fan from east to west, for over 65 hectares, and oriented to the south at the Poggio ai Monti vineyard, located at 330 meters above sea level. Another 14 hectares of vineyards are located in Novoli, about 1 km further north-east, in the Vergignolo valley.
The formations that originated the substrates can be traced back to three lithological types: the "tufo", the "mattaione" and pebbles mixed with coarse sand. Near Novoli, the soils are of clayey, loamy-clay substrate, while the 65 hectares of Fiano are of medium texture, tending towards clayey and accompanied by the presence of skeleton, in the form of pebbles.
Val di Suga
Tenimenti Angelini, owned by the Angelini family and part of the group of the same name, was founded in November 1994 with the acquisition of three historic wineries in Tuscany: the Azienda Agricola Val di Suga in Montalcino, the Tenuta Trerose in Montepulciano and the Fattoria San Leonino in Castellina in Chianti.
Three appellations of great prestige and tradition for one of the companies that have focused more on the production of quality wines, but capable of being faithful witnesses of their respective territories.Val di Suga is the estate where the wines of the most prestigious appellation are born: Brunello of Montalcino.
A property that extends for over one hundred hectares and which is characterized by a unique element: the vineyards that surround the cellar are arranged on three different sides. The possibility therefore of using the grapes from the three areas, very different from each other in terms of soil and exposure, allows Val di Suga to offer harmonious and well-balanced wines, where all the best characteristics of this magical territory known in Worldwide.
