Following the retirement of his parents, Claude Beaufort took over the family management of the company with his wife, thus reaching the sixth generation of winemakers. They cultivate 4 hectares of vineyards located in the 100% Grand Cru commune of Ambonnay. Ambonnay is a small town of a thousand inhabitants located in the Reims Mountain and is part of the 17 municipalities classified as Grand Cru 100% out of the 312 municipalities that make up Champagne. This producer is classified as RC (Recoltant Cooperative) because, having a very small company, he could not afford to buy cutting-edge machinery and for this reason he relies on the Ambonnay Cooperative to make wine, where he is also the administrator.
