Cantina Contratto, founded in 1867 in Canelli (Asti), is one of the oldest producers of classic method sparkling wines in Italy. Its underground cellar, a true architectural masterpiece in marl and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, extends over 5,000 square meters and reaches a depth of 32 meters. Production focuses on quality sparkling wines, such as those based on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and artisanal Vermouth, with great attention to the selection of grapes and respect for nature.
Millesimato celebrates our desire to produce only vintage sparkling wines, which therefore emphasize the peculiarities of each harvest. The aromas are soft and delicate, with floral and citrus scents. On the palate it is fresh and savory, with a wonderfully fine perlage.
