Plavis is our tribute to the Piave river (from the Latin Plavis) considered “sacred to the homeland”, in memory of the battles it took place during the First World War. Obtained from Merlot grapes, one of the most traditional vines of the Piave area, it has a fruity aroma of ripe red berry fruit, a harmonious and soft taste. Extremely rich and long-lived.
In the local dialect, the term "Olmèra" indicates that the forest trees of the elm that was where now there is the vineyard. These elms have left particular elements in the soil that lend structure and personality to this wine.
Is obtained from the vineyard “Kreda” in the farmhouse “Le Ronche”. The word “kreda” is a term used in local dialect of veneto means of clay, a main element of the land where they grow these screws. The clay gives way slowly and steadily the nutritional elements and water to the screws, giving them a natural balance.
