The historic dedication of Bertani to the production of Amarone is renewed in this wine born in the hills of Valpantena valley, offering an Amarone, modern and balanced, always authentic and full of substance. New fermentation technologies and new methods for drying the grapes allow this wine to find balance and elegance in the notes to the exuberant fruit that tastes of blackberry, cherry and spicy notes typical of this valley.
|Vines and plants||Corvina Veronese 80%, Rondinella 20%|
|Production area||The hills of the Valpantena, north of the city of Verona. The soils are marl-limestone to the east and clay-limestone to the west, rich in iron.|
|Vinification||Harvested from mid-September. In mid-January, with the destemming and pressing of the grapes, fermentation starts, initially at a temperature of 4°- 5°C that can reach 22°C in the final stage.|
|Maturation||A part of it ages in Slavonian oak barrels with an average capacity of 25 hl and a small part in barriques for about 30 months. The bottling there follows a period of aging of at least six months.|
