Bertani's historic dedication to the production of Amarone is renewed in this wine that was born on the hills of Valpantena, offering a modern and balanced Amarone, always authentic and rich in substance. New fermentation technologies and new drying methods allow this wine to find balance and elegance in the exuberant notes of fruit, with the taste of blackberry, cherry and spicy notes typical of this valley.
|Vines and plants||Corvina Veronese 80% and Rondinella 20%|
|Production area||Hills of Valpantena, north of the city of Verona. The soils are of a marl-calcareous nature to the east and clay-limestone to the west, rich in iron.|
|Vinification||Harvest carried out from mid-September. In mid-January, with the destemming and crushing of the grapes, fermentation begins, initially at a temperature of 4 ° - 5 ° C which reaches 22 ° C in the final phase.|
|Maturation||One part is aged in Slavonian oak barrels, with an average capacity of 25 hl and a small part in barriques for about 30 months. The bottling is followed by an aging period of at least six months.|
