Tasting: Red purple, bright and deep; the nose descriptors complex vanilla with aromatic herbs, rosemary, sage, basil. Notes of old wood and beeswax. In the mouth elegant, clean, austere tannins, silky and sweet, pleasantly bitter cocoa and chocolate. Long, leaves memories of blackberry and currant, with a clean closure.
At the table: in our “Villa di Nozzole” we like to pair it with the wild boar stew with chanterelles and blueberries, served on a polenta of the Garfagnana
