Historical label of the territory: a wine originally produced in the 60s and 70s by the Villa del Ferro company of Alfredo Lazzarini, of which we have recently acquired the vineyards.
This wine is dedicated to its creator Alfredo Lazzarini, it contains the history of the Berici Hills that we do not want to forget.
One of the first vintages produced by Alfredo Lazzarini, was defined by the great Luigi Veronelli as "impossible wine, equal in esoteric charm to the best Pauillacs". Veronelli also considered the Berici Hills as one of the most suitable areas for the cultivation of Bordeaux varieties, together with the Bolgheri area.
Selection from the original 50 year old Merlot pergolas
