This wine was born from the desire to bring to light Merlot, which in Veneto was the most cultivated red grape variety, due to its versatility and adaptability to the territory. Only in a few examples, however, has it enhanced its highest qualities. Planted in the Filò land at the beginning of the 21st century, until the plant lost its youthful impetuosity, it was not thought of in purity.
