In Alto Adige Lagrein is an indigenous grape variety; it has an intense garnet red color with violet reflections. On the nose, violet, black berries, notes of chocolate and intense spicy aromas stand out. Powerful passage in the mouth with well-structured tannins and the typical acidity of the grape.
Aromas of berries and cherry on the aftertaste. It stands out in particular for its elegance and its unparalleled bouquet that impresses experts. Lagrein is one of the most important Italian red wines. Aging potential: 2 - 4 years.
CLASSICS: The classic line includes varietal red and white wines with a lot of fruit and typicality. The vineyards, distributed throughout the cultivation area of Colterenzio, grow on different types of soil at altitudes ranging between 230 and 650 meters. The large temperature range between day and night and the further refinement in steel and concrete barrels guarantee fresh aromas and lively acidity.
