Intense ruby red, tending to garnet with ageing.
The aromas are deep and persistent: aromas of fleshy fruit, blackberries, black currants and cherries together with notes of licorice and graphite. Light balsamic hints complete the aromatic picture of great complexity and persistence.
Austere and elegant, with a strong impact and great gustatory progression, with a firm and decisive character marked by very fine, soft and round tannins. It closes long with very pleasant fruity returns.
