Montevetrano 2017 IGT Montevetrano
Montevetrano is a Colli di Salerno red wine with Typical Geographical Indication obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon, Aglianico, Merlot.
Born and produced a few kilometers from Salerno, in the Montevetrano farm of Silvia Imparato, in the municipality of San Cipriano Picentino. The first vintage produced is 1991 while the first marketed vintage was 1993. Montevetrano is vinified with its own grapes, and bottled on the estate, guaranteeing total control of the entire production cycle. With a highly recognizable style, it is a wine characterized by complexity, like the territory in which it is born, like the scents and colors of its land.
Intense color, a wine of strong persistence, elegant, it benefits from the beneficial influences of the sea and a mild climate, protected in its vineyards by the crown of the Picentini Mountains. Montevetrano, also thanks to careful and respectful processing, continues to mature in the bottle for fifteen or twenty years. From the tastings of the archive, the forecasts and judgments of the experts on the various vintages, great longevity can be guaranteed.
