Nieddera Red is a red wine with a Typical Geographical Indication - the Valley of the Tirso, which is obtained from grapes Nieddera and other red Grapes of the area.
COLOUR: deep ruby Red, with garnet reflections, clear
SCENT: Intense and persistent with hints of vanilla and black cherry
TASTE: Dry, warm, slightly tannic but harmonious

Nieddera is the name of an ancient native grape variety of Sardinia. The Nieddera Contini is the result of a wise blend with other varieties of sardinian. The must, obtained by soft pressing of the grapes, to ferment for approximately ten days contact with the skins. The maturation takes place partly in barrels of chestnut from 25 Hl, and partly in oak barriques of French central massif.
Wine of a deep ruby red colour, with garnet reflections, clear, with an intense aroma and persistent with hints of vanilla and black cherry. The palate is dry, warm, slightly tannic but harmonious.
The average stay in the wood is around ten months. Immediate and pleasant to drink, and the Nieddera red progressively improves with the ageing. It combines perfectly with dishes of meat, poultry and game. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C, uncorking the bottle at least an hour before serving.
