Intense purple red color. The nose is pleasant with hints of plum, cherry and black berries together with sweet spices and chocolate. In the mouth it is full, soft, with a good flavor of red fruit and licorice, savory and slightly spicy aftertaste.

Ripasso di Villa Novare is an intense and enveloping wine, soft and rich in fruit. it is produced with the technique of refermentation of Valpolicella on the pomace of Amarone and Recioto, to which Bertani also adds a small amount of semi-dried grapes that give the wine greater intensity with notes of fruit and a peculiar freshness. A reinterpretation of a traditional technique born from Bertani's culture and know-how. This Ripasso thus lends itself to being a certainly versatile wine in combinations with food, and to play different roles, being able to offer fruit, softness and consistency at the same time.
Aging: Aged in Slavonian oak barrels, with a capacity ranging from 8 to 30hl, for 15 months.

|Production area||Hills of Valpantena and Valpolicella Classica. The soils are mainly of a marl-calcareous nature and a volcanic part, rich in iron.|
|Vinification||1st fermentation: harvest at the end of September with harvest placed in special tanks at a controlled temperature included. 2nd fermentation «RIPASSO»: takes place in March on the skins of Amarone.|
|Maturation||Ages in Veronese - Bertani 50 hl French oak barrels for 9 months.|
