Fruity bouquet, freshness and complexity are the three main distinguishing characteristics of Segura Viudas Brut Reserva. The fruit and freshness derive from the meticulous care with which the Segura Viudas winery treats its grapes.

The grapes are all harvested by hand and brought to the cellar in 25 kg self-draining plastic containers to avoid damage to the grapes and that the juice eventually oxidizes, avoiding to cause loss of freshness. The complexity comes from a very particular technique, which involves the autolysis of the yeast cells in the base wine for 3 months before bottling and a second autolysis of the yeast cells for a minimum of 15 months of aging in the bottle.
