Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG "Bric D'La Gesia" Briamara
A great vineyard for a great goal: to maximize the evolutionary potential of the Erbaluce grape.
The “Bric d'la Gesia” is born from about one hectare of vineyards located in one of the best sites on the Cuceglio hill, grown solely with the double guyot system, selecting only the healthiest and most mature bunches.
In the cellar, a soft pressing, strictly controlled temperatures and 12 months aging in tonneau previously used for the Caluso Passito, give this selection finesse, complexity, unique personality, great aging capacity.
Color: Straw yellow with golden reflections
Bouquet: Fresh and intense: white flowers and fruits, citrus, apple and peach pulp, followed by more mature notes of quince, yellow plums, medlar and spicy nuances
Taste: Dry, fresh and savory, in the mouth it highlights its enveloping structure and the fruity notes of the nose are found in a persistent finish
Serving temperature: 12/14 ° C.
Aging capacity: To be appreciated immediately or forgotten in the cellar, it does not fear the years, enriching itself with mineral and ethereal nuances
Food matches: For its fresh and savory taste and for its important body, it goes well with rich fish-based preparations, structured first courses, white meats.
