Moriz Pinot Blanc Alto Adige DOC Tramin Kellerei
Moriz Pinot Bianco was born among the highest terrains of the entire winery. The altitude gives fragrances freshness and lightness, tracing an exciting aromatic panorama. The aromas of Alto Adige concentrated in a young, modern and dynamic wine. The name of this wine comes from the patron saint of Sella, S. Maurizio.
COLOUR: straw yellow with greenish reflections
BOUQUET: On the nose, it has a "buttery" profile followed by pleasant notes of white flowers, citrus, pear and notes of dried fruit.
TASTE: It is fresh, juicy and of good fullness that marries with a strong minerality, a long and delicately spiced finish.
Excellent with appetizers, it is also perfect in combination with substantial first courses. Ideal with vegetables, cheeses, fish dishes or white meats.
A long winter postponed the awakening of the vine to early April. A drop in temperatures after budding also delayed flowering. Subsequently, the weather remained capricious with a hot June and a humid July which laid the ideal foundations for the start of the maturation. August showed its best side with sunny weeks and exceptionally low night temperatures. Despite some brief downpours at the end of September/beginning of October, the harvest, which began with a delay of approx. ten days than usual and characterized by clearly lower than average volumes, it was marked by numerous warm days and increasingly colder nights. The white wines of the 2021 vintage show depth and conquer the palate with a marked freshness and particularly delicate fruity aromas, while the full-bodied reds boast a ripe tannic structure and fresh fruity notes.
