Phigaia El Blanco delle Venezie IGT Serafini & Vidotto
Ideal on crustaceans and molluscs, risotto with lagoon shrimps, trenette with pesto, fried scampi and squid, asparagus au gratin. But a wonderful companion of the best raw hams with a sweet tendency: from S. Daniele to Parma, from Sauris to Montagnana.
It is crystalline and shiny, with a green-straw hue, from which bright solar flares shine. Movement reveals agility and consistency. The first nose reveals elegant citrus and vegetable scents, with notes reminiscent of pink grapefruit, mandarin orange, cedar and green apple, mint and tomato leaf.
Then there is a decisive opening on the minerality of rock and flint, which are gradually flanked by sweet nuances of vanilla. The sip is decidedly full and enveloping. At first citrus freshness and balanced sapidity, then slowly the wine widens, highlighting a solid and well-sculpted structure in enveloping roundness, turning in slow progression towards warm perceptions.
The long taste-olfactory persistence fades to ample citrus notes, aromatic herbs and brackish nuances.
