Pigato is a Ligurian variant of Vermentino that has adapted to our coasts. The name derives from the Genoese dialect 'pigau' and indicates the rust-colored spots that can be seen on the Pigato grapes in an advanced stage of ripening.

Color: Intense straw yellow with golden reflections.
Bouquet: Wide, intense and persistent with hints of yellow peach, acacia honey and aromatic herbs.
Taste: Dry but enveloping, of long continuity with a pleasant and typical bitter aftertaste.
