Ribolla Gialla Collio DOC La Castellada

The Ribolla Gialla grapes with which this wine is produced come from vineyards that have an age ranging from 23 to 45 years. It is left to ferment in open Slavonian oak vats for two months. It ages for two years in large Slavonian barrels and then rests for 10 months in steel tanks, and refines a year in glass. It is a masterpiece of winemaking: it stands out for its structure and complexity.

It has a deep yellow color that tends towards amber. The nose has aromas of hay and dried flowers, and scents reminiscent of mimosa and cedar. The olfactory bouquet is completed by nuances of dried apricots and brown sugar. On the palate it is full-bodied and has a tannic tone, with a sapid, mineral and full of freshness finish.
