The vineyards are all located in Preignac, one of the five municipalities that are part of the Sauternes appellation. The vineyards extend over 56 hectares of which 52 in a single parcel. The soil is siliceous stony and in some areas also stony clay.

The vines used are those typical of the area, with 80% Semillon, 17% Sauvignon and 3% Muscadelle.
Semillon helps to give power to the wine, while Sauvignon ensures its vivacity and freshness. The Muscadelle, for its part, makes its contribution to the harmonic richness of Sauternes. The average age of the vines is 37 years.
