By 1885, the winery Fattoria Casetto dei Mandorli di Nicolucci produces fine wines from Predappio Alta, an area of great historical importance in the viticulture of the region of Romagna.
It is obtained from Sangiovese grapes with large and oval berries. After a brief refinement in cask it then continues in the bottle.
It comes from an expert blend of Sangiovese grosso from the hills and Terrano. This blend of noble grapes is typical of the Romagna tradition and gives this red wine a particular characteristic and a strong personality.
Small-berry Sangiovese, matures two years in 30 hl oak barrels, followed by three months of bottle aging.
