Francesco Galliano Blanc de Blancs Brut Alta Langa DOCG Borgo Maragliano
The wine obtained from pressing the Chardonnay grape is bottled in April of the year following the harvest, where, after chaptalization and the immediate addition of yeasts from the batch, it undergoes refermentation. Once this process which gives rise to the characteristic foam is completed, maturation on the yeasts follows which lasts approximately 32 months. During this period of time in the bottle the wine abandons its herbaceous characteristics and takes on a texture that makes it a very delicate and signature bubble. The "clarification" and "disgorgement" operations prepare it for consumption, which takes place approximately three years after the harvest.
Foam with very fine chains that envelop a light straw color with greenish reflections; the bouquet is structured with sensations of fruit, lime, aromatic herbs and honey, acacia flowers which enhance the nature of Chardonnay. Nice entry into the mouth which makes it very seductive, long and harmonious. Taste is the main part of this Blanc de Blancs as it expresses the true characteristics of a great grape in a very hostile territory.
