Signor Galliano, a rude but kind old man, many years ago had a beautiful vineyard planted with Moscato, right next to the Berta farmhouse.
Those were the years in which Italian was spoken little and things were named after their owners: that hill as sweet as the vine that was grown there was known by all as Bric del Gaian, Bricco di Galliano. This grappa di moscato aged eight years, as soft as the hill that we admire every day from the windows of the Distilleries, is dedicated to him.
