On the Isle of Islay is Loch Finlaggan, a place of great importance to Scottish history. There are 3 islands in this Loch, the two of which are Eilean Mor and Eileen na Comhairle. On the latter took place the inauguration of the Macdonald Lords Islands.
Nose: sweet and peaty smoke. Medicinal Notes. A touch of sea salt.
Palate: Strong with spicy peat smoke. Tar and iodine. Lightly oiled and sweet malt.
Final: long and smoky.
