The name Santa Barbara is a tribute to our land, our traditions and our cults. The history of these places has its roots in the sixth century, when Senigallia was a Byzantine city and a Lombard outpost (and therefore "barbarian") settled in a nearby village. Since then, that village took the name of Barbara where our winery stands today, which has the privilege of having its production site inside an ancient monastery.
