The cellar reflects and crowns the vision of the Estate. Ipogea, therefore absolutely integrated with the surrounding environment, and with low environmental impact, represents a sort of underground temple, dominated by two ancient stone farmhouses and a wonderful Mediterranean garden, the work of the garden designer Richard Shelbourne.
The altitude and southern exposure of our vineyards allow a slow and complete ripening of the bunches that give wines of great concentration and vigor. The cool and breezy nights help maintain the aromatic complexities of the grapes.
Lucente is the result of a careful selection of the estate's vineyards, identified to be particularly suited to the production of a wine with a fruity profile and great pleasure; come Luce comes from the union of Sangiovese and Merlot, which prevails in the blend.
