Secretary of State Whiskey aged 5 years Poli
Whiskey aged 5 years and aged in Amarone barrels.
TASTE: warm, soft
AROMA: reminiscent of a cup of toasted nuts, raisins, plums, chocolate and smoked spices.
October 15th 2013: what an extraordinary day for us at Schiavon, a small town in the heart of the Veneto region.
Our most illustrious fellow countryman is appointed Secretary of State of the Holy See.
"Such an event deserves to be celebrated with a special distillate!" the Mayor Mirella Cogo told me.
Thus was born the project of a Pure Malt Whiskey aged in Amarone barrels.
An international spirit with a Venetian soul, like him, our Secretary of State.
The Poli Whiskey is the result of the distillation of pleasantly peated pure barley malt, aged 5 years and aged in Amarone barrels.
The "Secretary of State" is an Italian whiskey reminiscent of a cup of toasted dried fruit, raisins, plums, chocolate and smoked spices.
Poli's whiskey is as solemn as the embrace of St. Peter's Square.
