The Gewürztraminer Conti d'Arco appears to the eye in a straw yellow color. It has an intriguing scent of cedar, dog rose, honey and fruit. It captivates the palate with aromatic and dry, balanced and persistent scents.
The grapes, such as Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), Prugnola and Rossola, from the Grumello sub-area, are vinified "in red" with a medium-long maceration. After 2 months in steel and 18 months in large 80 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 4 months of aging in bottle.
From a careful selection of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes. Conte della Vipera pays homage to the first owners of the castle and the label shows the 13th century chapel of San Giovanni, located on the property.
