Splendid encounter between the typicality of the Vespaiolo grape and the minerality of the volcanic soil of Breganze.
Obtained from the best Greco Bianco, a thousand-year-old Calabrian vine, grown close to the Ionian Sea. A tribute to our wonderful sea of Cirò
White grape variety typical of the Breganze Doc, it expresses aromaticity and minerality taken to the extreme.
Very intense and intriguing bouquet with hints of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers and vanilla. Fresh, structured flavor with good persistence. Notes of ripe fruit tending to apricot with a subtle hint of vanilla.
The grapes, such as Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), Prugnola and Rossola, from the Grumello sub-area, are vinified "in red" with a medium-long maceration. After 2 months in steel and 18 months in large 80 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 4 months of aging in bottle.
True jewel of the company, born from the concentration of the drying of the native Vespaiola grape.
Color: Intense yellow with golden reflections. Bouquet: Hints of ripe banana pulp, medlar peel and acacia flowers. Taste: Round and persistent in the mouth with an alcohol content capable of highlighting a dense and white tannic texture as a corollary of a vegetable and mineral acidity.
Wine produced in an alpine environment using Nebbiolo grapes vinified in white. The geological origin of the land dates back to the collision between the African and European plates that gave rise to the Alps. The great variability of the resulting rocks give minerality and elegance.
From Pecorello grapes, an ancient native Calabrian vine to be rediscovered and valorised. For us, Ippolito is proud of passionate research.
