It was 1895 when Oscar Despagne, a French liqueurist, arrived in Sicily by ship, or in “batò” as he liked to tell, to collaborate with Pellegrino for the production of amaro. Batò Amaro Siciliano comes from the slow and long maceration in alcohol of over twenty officinal herbs and essences.
Sao Can 10 Special Reserve is a fine blend of different casks, with highly aged reserves. Perfect to be consumed neat, at room temperature, to savor its intensity and sweetness and capture its sweet and pleasant aroma, with notes of licorice and vanilla.
Sao Can 14 Reserva Original is a Cuban DOP with a bewitching dark amber color, a blend of very aged reserves that amaze on the nose, as well as fruity notes. The palate is round and fruity.
