Tenuta Lamborghini is located in Umbria, between the southern slope of Lake Trasimeno and the beautiful medieval village of Panicale. We are on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, Cortona and the Val di Chiana are only a few tens of kilometers away. The estate was bought by Ferruccio Lamborghini in the late 1960s who, while traveling in these areas, fell in love with the harsh and very sweet landscape at the same time.
The wine then passes into wood, in French oak barriques for ten months while the refinement in the bottle lasts six months. Intense ruby red in color, it has a generous bouquet that begins with a hint of blackberry jam and then turns towards eucalyptus and licorice.
Ruby red in color tending to garnet, the nose has notes of dry leaves and humus, followed by red berry fruit and nutmeg. On the palate it is perceived a pleasant sapidity, firm tannins and long finish. We recommend pairing with red meat and cheeses.
