Millèsime 2011 AOC Champagne André Clouet
André Clouet's Champagne Brut Millésime 2011 is made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru de Bouzy vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. This Millésime is produced only in the best vintages, carefully selected by Jean Francois Clouet. This Champagne ferments and then ages in Sauternes barrels for a few years while the dosage remains within the parameters of the Brut.
Great balance both on the nose and in the mouth, with the right acidity contrasted by the oxidative notes typical of the long stay on the yeasts: white fruits and a light floral aroma leave room for stronger notes of honey and yeast. The finish is broad and the bubbles are silky. Champagne for true enthusiasts that can be easily tasted on several occasions: from aperitifs to traditional fish dishes, or at the end of a meal with dry pastries.
