Etsu Pacific Ocean Water Gin is a unique and rare spirit, produced by the Asahikawa Distillery in Hokkaido. We are on the second largest of the Japanese archipelago islands. A small tropical paradise, the distillery is literally surrounded by the sea. On one side the Pacific Ocean, on the other the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk. It is no coincidence that the name Hokkaido means "the road to the Northern Sea". And the link with the sea is precisely the peculiarity of this Gin that comes from a unique process.

In fact, fresh water from a mountain spring is mixed with sea water taken directly from the Sea of Japan. Carefully selected botanicals are then added to this unique blend, starting with juniper berries, bitter orange peel, licorice root, angelica and coriander. Thus was born an incredibly pure Gin, characterized by a light and transparent color. On the nose the aromas are fresh and iodized, while a soft and silky taste is discovered in the mouth. Refined gin, it lends itself both to being drunk neat, with a simple decoration of lemon zest and peppercorns, or to become the base of unusual cocktails.
