The Colli di Luni area represents the easternmost corner of the region, extending between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps, at a distance of only 7 miles as the crow flies from the sea. The privileged position of the area offers a unique microclimate where the action of the sea and mountain breezes that alternate between day and night, creates an optimal condition for the cultivation of vines and the production of excellent wines.
Essentiae produces liqueurs following natural methods and ancient recipes of the Ligurian Mediterranean tradition, it is an artisan laboratory born and active in Castelnuovo Magra in the Colli di Luni. The Opificio Essentiae was born thanks to the meeting between Diego Bosoni, winemaker and oenologist in the family business, and Fiorella Stoppa, a great expert in the artisan preparation of liqueurs according to the local tradition.
The color is intense ruby red, which slowly takes on amber reflections during maturation, the nose is intense, spicy notes and references to tree resins are felt, in the mouth it is dry, harmonious and of great structure.
The color is a golden yellow with subtle pink reflections, the nose immediately perceives the great elegance: the notes of rose are not invasive but well balanced by hints of vanilla and fruit. In the mouth it is harmonious and of great persistence.
The “Numero Chiuso” label contains all the authenticity and quality of the wine reserved only for those who appreciate and know how to combine respect for the territory, local tradition and love for good wine.
