A stone dated 1528 testifies to the presence of the Salatin family on site. The wine business began in 1947 by the Brothers Cav. Antonio and Ercole, in places also loved by the Doges of the Republic of Venice.
Driven by their passion for the cultivation of vines, their children and grandchildren now lead the company, which extends over 75 hectares, most of which are vineyards enclosed between the Prosecco hills, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco and the Grave areas of the Friuli and DOC Venice.
Thanks to its ability to combine the values of ancient tradition with technological modernity, the company deservedly fits into this heritage. The fusion of experience and efficiency in an ideal microclimate leads to the creation of wines that express all the typical qualities of the vines of this area.
