The Contado is obtained from the vinification in purity of Aglianico grapes grown on the hills of Molise in the Camarda vineyard. Vinified in small steel fermenters with long maceration. The wine is aged for about three years, one of which in barriques and tonneaux.
Brilliant ruby red color, elegant nose with notes of wild berries among which cassis stands out. Elegant, soft and juicy in the mouth.
Bottled for the first time with the 2004 vintage, this wine is the purest and most direct expression of Bolgheri according to Le Macchiole. Red of grace and intensity, joyful and easy to drink, it does not give up substance and complexity.
It is obtained from the pure selection of the best and most mature grapes of Montepulciano and Aglianico. It is traditionally vinified with long contact of the must with the marc and aged in small oak barrels.
Intense ruby red color, hints of wild berries implemented by vanilla spice; full but delicate, its vivacity predisposes it to a long life, the persistent aftertaste amplifies its elegance.
