Since the mid-1980s, the Coppo company has managed the La Rocca estate in Monterotondo di Gavi. This classic Piedmontese white is obtained from Cortese grapes, one of the oldest native grape varieties in Piedmont, so called because it was intended for the production of wines for the Court. Gavi La Rocca comes from a soil made up of calcareous marl which gives it an unexpected mineral complexity.
Gavi La Rocca di Coppo is exactly the kind of wine you would like to serve.
