Xyauyù Barrel Barley Wine Specialty Wood Aged Beer Baladin
Xyauyù Barrel is Baladin's Barley Wine fermented in rum barrels.
The color of the 2017 vintage darkens slightly towards a more classic "monk's habit". In transparency it is clear and with no foam.
The nose is immediately struck by the warmth of fruit in alcohol accompanied by woody tones, notes of walnut, ripe fruit and dates. In the mouth, the main sensation is the unmistakable aroma of great aged rums, which harmonizes with the typically malty notes of this barley wine and with the hints, already present on the nose, of fruit in alcohol.
Xyauyù Barrel is a clear and flat beer, with a "monk's habit" brown color.
The aroma is warm and balanced with notes of fruit in alcohol and woody tones.
The taste gives way to the flavor of rum aged inside the barrels, with malty and fruity notes.
