Powerful, elegant, long-lived, Ripe del Falco is the expression of the long winemaking tradition of the Ippolito family. Selection of the best Gaglioppo in the vineyard, care in the cellar and a long wait give us a wine of great charm, austere and enveloping. Each vintage is a small step in the evolution of winemaking technique. Ripe del Falco, a precious selection of memorable vintages, contains the history of our wines in a glass.
ruby in color with garnet reflections due to expert aging; aromas of great complexity and intensity, withered rose petals, hints of undergrowth, liquorice, leather, tobacco, spices. In the mouth it is intense, warm, savory, very fine tannins and a very persistent finish.
Tips: excellent with braised meats, game and long-matured cheeses. Also ideal as a meditation wine.
