The Contado is obtained from the vinification in purity of Aglianico grapes grown on the hills of Molise in the Camarda vineyard. Vinified in small steel fermenters with long maceration. The wine is aged for about three years, one of which in barriques and tonneaux.
The king of red wines is very demanding, making it possible to grow high quality grapes only in the best wine-growing areas. Precisely in Val Venosta this vine finds the ideal conditions to thrive: slightly permeable soils, protected areas and poor rain combined with abundant exposure to the sun.
