Completely overwhelmed by the quality of this vineyard which dates back to the Middle Ages, Dourthe acquired the estate in 1990. For more than 25 years, a new viticultural approach has been applied to the entire vineyard, respecting the terroir and grape varieties in search of excellent quality....
It comes from an expert blend of Sangiovese grosso from the hills and Terrano. This blend of noble grapes is typical of the Romagna tradition and gives this red wine a particular characteristic and a strong personality.
The Mornico Pinot Nero Riserva P articella 4 dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOP Cà di Frara has a ruby color with notes of amaranth and orange, a slightly fruity nose with a delicate aroma of red and ripe fruit, a soft and delicate taste on the palate, aftertaste of cherry and viscola.
It is obtained from Sangiovese grapes with large and oval berries. After a brief refinement in cask it then continues in the bottle.
The Losana Pinot Nero Riserva Particella 17 dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOP Cà di Frara has a ruby color, the nose with notes of amaranth and slightly fruity orange with a delicate aroma of red and ripe fruit, the palate soft and delicate taste, aftertaste of cherry and viscola.
