Donna Lisa Malvasia is produced with 100% Malvasia Bianca grapes, harvested in the first ten days of September.
The grapes, such as Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), Prugnola and Rossola, from the Grumello sub-area, are vinified "in red" with a medium-long maceration. After 2 months in steel and 18 months in large 80 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 4 months of aging in bottle.
It is the manifest superiority of a tightrope walker in white, who knows how to stay on the edge of powerful alcohol and wood. Aromatic but evergreen, Mediterranean in body but Nordic in culture, from the glass you can understand the efforts and passion in the vineyard and in the cellar.
